It's amazing how Niantic manages to turn something that should make everybody happy into this mess. Next time you guys NEED to show a clear counter to everybody. Using a number people are unable to follow will always lead to a lot of questions and frustration.

This issue with the Black holes is ridiculous. Year after year and it's not only never fixed, but it's like nobody even understands what is going on.

Also be careful that in Brazil you can have facilities that look like a house (and are next to single family houses) but are actually a comercial place (small store, a bar, a bakery) or even a church. You should believe more in the signs than in the architecture or the surrounding places. Zoning is a mess in Brazil.

Not everyone, actually. Someone was complaining that he was having access to too many pokestops because of that increase and he was hitting the ridiculously high spin cap limit in PGO. But almost everyone, sure.

Why? It is indeed a path that leads to multiple plots. Only two have houses built on them, but it seems the other 3 belong to other people (at least it's not something anyone is disputing), so I fail to see why it is invalid.

Have you been able to complete it? BTW, another thing that I hate is that when I edit a post to fix a typo (usually adding or removing one letter) it very often goes to moderation. It is teaching me to just leave the typos there.

It's indeed hard to understand the motivation. Anyway, It should be pretty easy for Niantic to gather data to check if something out of ordinary is happening there.

Because it's what we always do here in the forums whenever someone is complaining about unfair rejections... It's a unwritten rule that in these cases someone must first come and doubt their eligibility. Good thing we are past this phase, now we can discuss the obvious problem that is happening.

Actually, what Casey said is that your are not supposed to approve new ones, but he didn't say "recent additions" would be removed. Niantic's logic is a bit confusing sometimes.

In a lot of ways, we are in the dark while reviewing. We don't know the effective difference between 4* or 5*, or between 2* and 1*. Punishing without explaining why is absurd, I can't understand why people defend it. In some specific cases of clear abuse you can decide not to disclose too much information, but in cases that are caused by lack of education instead of malice, it doesn't make any sense at all.

I think you guys need to investigate it better. There has been a lot of complaints in the last days about (mass)rejections from Niantic. If it's some kind of bug that rejected submissions without anyone reviewing them, you guys should look into all the submissions that were marked as rejected by Niantic in the last days...

Sadly, they usually don't take action against thus kind of abuse. They move stuff to their correct places (if they are not correct), but they don't remove stuff that was purposely placed in a incorrect spot to become a gym and later moved to its correct place. What he means is making description edits that read like "please choose the location on the top" or something along these lines. It's unfortunately very common and a clear reason for a ban.

You are not supposed to reduce the rating. If the location is correct after the adjustment, you just review as usual. If you feel it was moved a large distance on porpuse, you can use the location mismatch rejection. But I only use it for really large distances.
