So, the guy is charging for spoofing into whatever place you want and submitting something for you? Unbelievable.
-
Are you sure it's the right topic, @NianticGiffard ? You said 2 Wayspots, and this topic had only one. Also, it was not moved (unless it's waiting for a sync).
-
Sure, but even in these forums it's not what happens today. I'm not talking about people using a lot of drama to pass a normal request as an abuse one, I've recently seen at least two very clear abuse situations while appealing: One guy took a geo tagged picture requesting removal of a monument, but other people proved it…
-
Yeah... It could have at least something about how it will work
-
I think he is just trying to confuse whoever is going to look at this report.
-
It seems that when Niantic selects a submission for them to review directly, they "disable" the submission in Wayfarer (probably to prevent it from progressing in Wayfarer as well, wasting resources) , and then it disappears. After the review, they update its status and enable it again.
-
You are not supposed to go beyond what Niantic considers in the criteria. If it's indeed a multi family complex, then it's eligible, no reason to 2 star because of privacy concerns. If we start making this kind of assumption, we will reject everything.
-
They go into voting faster as well. In my area if you don't upgrade the nomination it stays in queue forever.
-
Niantic needs to stop "asking" people not to use multiple accounts and start to actually enforce it. It's a big problem in a lot of places and they don't care.
-
Yes, it was. Probably by a moderator.
-
I've had an upgraded one take 3 days once (half of it to go into voting). But it is usually less than a day. Non upgraded here takes more than a year, so it's a big difference.
-
That guy was banned. Ignore him.
-
He acts as if you don't agree with him, either you didn't read what he said, or maybe there was a translation issue. And escalates very quickly.
-
Sure, but it should count as a rejection, just like any other 1*. Anyway, we should also have proper feedback from these reports. It's the reason some people stared posting everything here.
-
Yeah, Niantic always taking very good care of the quality of its network.
-
If Niantic thinks it's the natural collateral damage from the way they decided to run things and they don't intend to change, at least come here, say it's working as intended and give this a closure. Leaving this In investigation since March without any answer is ridiculous.
-
They were restored. I have to say that some (maybe most) of them do look fake, but I have no way to check properly, as Street View is not very helpful.
-
And when the guy creates a topic with one account and then later on replies on the same topic as if he was the OP but with a different account, it is just too obvious.
-
I don't think people need to have a problem with you or spy you to notice your obvious multi accounting. Even Giffard (the real one, you know) warned you already. Sad to see again that the "punishment" for multi accounting here is a "please don't do it".
-
The names in the Intel Map are still the same... It needs to wait for a sync or something?
-
It's hard to believe that this actually went through review. It's similar to that case in Germany when they suspended a lot of reviewers, but it's even worse, because the names not only include the word fake, but they also make jokes and are ridiculous. @NianticGiffard @NianticAaron @NianticTintino @NianticDanbocat sorry…
-
Wow, this is something that has been a huge problem for some people for a long time.
-
Wait, so you mean it's in a store that sells these playground equipment, and it's there for sale and not for use? Is that what you've been trying to say? If so, I guess you right that it shouldn't be a POI, but I don't know if it meets removal criteria.
-
Is that a threat?
-
An POI that was permanently removed does not meet your criteria for removal?
-
@NianticGiffard a lot of changes were rolled back for some weird reason... Will all of them be restored, or people will need to request all of them again?
-
so long as there wouldn’t be objections to you entering the area and the location is accessible to some folks "You" in this sentence is whoever is nominating the portal, not anyone that asks. The location is accessible to "some folks" (whoever works there), so there's nothing wrong with it.
