Is the one with more likes a showcase stop? Those normally won't turn into a gym if there are other options. (I have only ever heard one report of a showcase stop becoming a gym, and it wasn't something I have ever seen happen.)

If a Wayspot exists where it is pinned and doesn't show in Pokemon Go, then it was never going to show in Pokemon Go. One game did not "ruin" another. When we review photo edits in Wayfarer, we cannot remove old photos, just accept new ones or not. If a photo is truly bad and should be removed, you can report to help chat. They have removed photos for me.

When I tried this previously, they refused to do anything and I had to come here and post in the appeals section. It has changed in that now it is a defined thing they will do.

Please read the tooltip for the Accuracy section. Memorials are "Sensitive" and should be rejected. When I try to copy and paste the tooltip wording here, my post doesn't post so this general comment may post three times after review. Or not.

I saw one last night and another this morning accepted by "our team" so I do think the machine learning ai can accept nominations now. We knew they were working on something with all those recent pulls into Niantic voting. No upgrade was used on the two I saw.

if i sounded sarcastic, i wasn't. i just want us all going by the same guidelines. getting rid of previous clarifications is just as effective as trying to find and post them all where everyone can access them. as many times as i have begged for clarifications, i had given up on the latter option.

We have been begging for years to have the nomination prompts indicate that you are submitting Wayspots for consideration for inclusion in the Lightship database, not pokestops or portals. I don't think they will ever change the wording.

Wow are you in North Carolina in the Research Triangle area? That is the same mix of nomination locations I see. Stuff takes forever to get reviewed here, and I know there are undecided nominations out there.

There is no way we can help with this if we don't see what you are submitting. Do they meet criteria of a GREAT place for exercise, exploration, or being social? Are the locations ineligible, like a single family private residence or a school for students under 18?
