I include this comment on every trail and mile marker I submit: A forum comment by NinaticGiffard states even small trail markers are encouraged Wayspots as they keep people moving along the trail: https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/comment/111955#Comment_111955 Those mile markers do exactly that and I…

My own two cents: It took 5 tries each on two trail markers to get them accepted. I knew they were eligible, and kept resubmitting, adding a bit more information each time, such as comments on this forum about trail markers. So in addition to burning 10 upgrades to get two Wayspots in game - nothing moves here without an…

Still hasn't moved - was an unearned upgrade applied by Niantic to this nomination on 6/16/21 - @NianticDanbocat any updates on this issue?
-
Just fyi - in your initial post you said "Be better Niantic" but it is the player community that has done the review unless you get the "Niantic Review Decision" rejection reason. The criteria to meet to be an eligible nomination is "a great place of exploration, place for exercise, or place to be social." If you think…

I saw on the map today that another submission for this had gone live today so I tried to withdraw my nomination, but couldn't.
-
this was my situation - another nomination for the same thing was approved today (in the wrong spot) so i tried to withdraw mine but can't - very good point about it hurting everyone that voted for it if it has to ride out the time until it gets marked as a duplicate @NianticDanbocat can you point out to whoever is…

Wow this is fascinating! I don't get decisions unless I upgrade. Unless Niantic pulls it to review or I nominate way outside my local area. And I don't travel much so that doesn't happen often. I finally gave up and upgraded my last nomination from 2019 (approved October 2021) so now my oldest without a decision is from…

Thank you for clarifying! Now can I get credit for all the things I got disagreements on because I rejected them based on reading in this forum that nothing on base was allowed, but others put through who were not trying to stay informed?
-
reported in bug reports - i have it, too wondering if anyone has local features currently i am so sad because i was actually featured on my local showcase for the first time.... doesn't appear to be keeping me from getting reviews from the same pool as usual
-
okay this would look like just a house to anyone flying through reviews, but i would have accepted this. my biggest suggestion is to include a link in the supporting information section that reviewers who are carefully considering the nomination to easily verify that this is what you say it is - i quickly googled several,…

check the bug report and add your report and upvote to that - i got it, too
-
oops didn't tag anyone official to look at this - @NianticGiffard ?
-
same - have logged out and back in several times so sad - i finally made our local "featured wayspots" and now i can't see it =(

We were just discussing this on Discord. The person who is having the rubberband issue has this screen for nominating. While my screen looks like this: Their phone is a Samsung Galaxy S10e and mine is a Samsung Galaxy S10. We both are on version 0.223.1-G-64 of Pokemon Go. Should this be moved to bug reports…

I just added to that previous thread - the person i chatted with who has the bug gets a screen telling them to use two fingers to move the map. I do not.

I get so many from North Carolina bases and it is frequently hard to tell whether it is on base or not - especially with all the approved wayspots already existing. Absolutely, if they have the ability to geoblock spawns, they should geoblock nominations!
-
I had one, and came here to ask the same question. It was tagged as "Niantic Review" on 11/18 but was back "in queue" 11/19 Have seen several Discord reports that Niantic Reviews have been placed back in queue.

It is not spelled out that "neighborhood signs are ineligible". But if you look at the examples under Criteria of Eligibility Criteria, you will not see a neighborhood sign as an example. Same applies if you look at the Acceptance Criteria tab. And the first thing you see in Rejection Criteria is "Does not seem to be a…

yes. even though my friend had multiple photos on the old pokestop, when the second poke object went live, it became the gym. he hadn't actually added votes to any of the photos because he thought that just having extra photos would up the score.

Another one - this one at a hospital on a military base. I LOVE this sculpture. How is anyone to know this should be rejected with all the approved wayspots existing?
-
@NianticDanbocat can you take another look at this nomination? this seems like exactly the kind of thing niantic would want in game.
-
And here is another on property marked as on base at Fort Lee in Open Street Maps.
-
Another one today with existing wayspots - I was looking to see if the Academy counted as post K-12 and found it is on base.
-
Again was just about to 5* this nomination when i tapped google in the corner to get a bigger map to be sure that was a tree it was pinned to - and discovered this is on a military base! If you don't want on base wayspots, you are going to have to remove existing ones.
-
Thanks for replying!
-
I was still going by the flat statement from Niantic that these are ineligible and rejecting them as 1* sensitive location. Thanks for finding the statement, and I see your point @Gendgi-PGO about more latitude than strictly eligible/ineligible but was trying to follow Niantic guidelines. Since I don't see anyone from…
-
this one was getting rejected anyway for being mailboxes, but goes to show that people just don't know that wayspots on base are ineligible
-
I always do look at satellite view. I do exit photospheres or street view to see the satellite view. I do not always exit the wayfarer nomination to get to a bigger version of the map to try to zoom in or out on words looking for the military base outlines that aren't clear on Google Maps anyway.
-
Here is another one I would have had no idea from the map that this was a base if the nomination didn't say so. I was able to see that it was when i exited to full size google maps this is too much responsibility to put on individual reviewers to uncover whether something is on base or not when it can't even be seen in the…

Just now I was all set to approve another gazebo in this neighborhood when I noticed the word "Battalion" on the map. With all the other Wayspots in the game, I almost missed that this was on a military base. If we are to follow the guidelines of NO Wayspots on military bases, we need help. If military bases are not…
