I didn't just leave it up to the reviewer to determine. You stated it offers exercise (horseback riding), and you can see how the cooking classes and team building activities could qualify as social. Those are clearly stated and supported. Out of curiosity, do you believe a nomination must meet all three criteria to be…

You might want a better picture and a better description. "Inn" means different things in different parts of the world, so if I saw that nimination, without a description, my first thought would be that it is a hotel. I googled it and discovered that it is a pub that serves food. If properly shown and described as a local…

Do you know that if you 1* the unique aspect and cultural items, the nomination is rejected? Also, the criteria is specifically about community interest. If the interest is individual, everything could/should be a POI. My favorite store isn't necessarily a local hotspot, no matter how much I love the place.

Trails and paths are different than statues or park exercise equipment. To use them, you must travel and move. The various markers ensure you stay on the path and don't get lost and further promote the purpose and exercise aspect of the trail/path POI. Some are long enough to pass through several towns, and the various…

The markers aren't the poi, the are literally markers for the POI. The marker isn't to be held to the "mass produced" criteria, the POI is.

So, for neighborhood, community, or city signs, are the signs themselves eligible nominations? Does the sign have special artistic merits that meet the exporation criteria? Are the neighborhood, community, city they represent eligible nominations? These are the ways to judge nominations.
-
All nominations should be POI that meet the requirements. Sometimes the POI can be represented with a main photo and wayspot that are are all exactly the same as the POI, like a statue. Sometimes the POI can be captured in a single image, but the POI is so big, the wayspot has to be representational, so you choose a best…

Unfortunately, Wayfarer has been pretty consistent with the definition of pedestrian access. Visible from across the street isn't considered safe pedestrian access: Safe Pedestrian Access denotes the player is able to access the object in question by walking up to it without putting themselves into potential danger.…

@NianticGiffard Drove by the location again yesterday, and the wrongly placed pokestop is still present in pokemon go. Somehow you correctly moved the Ingress portal, but not the Pokémon Go pokestop.

Once again, you appear to be making comments without bothering to look at the actual details. This isn't a church sign. It's a village sign on church property that lists days and times of services, as well as special community events.

Your submission was erroneously marked as duplicate. It is not the same sign and there is no hidden waystop that matches you submission. Marking it as duplicate is purely the case of LAZY reviewers. https://imgdash.com/image/KJ3Fm Your submission is the red x. It isn't duplicated by an existing wayspot or within 20m of an…

This is on PRP: Those are multi-family units, but each has their own fenced-off private backyard space.

You guys are just out of reach of the Davidson Pavillion? You can see it and remote there, right? As for your nomination, just being an old building doesn't make it a valid POI. Is it listed on a registry for old buildings? If you nominating the Shahi Darbar or the Oriental Wok in that building, those don't seem to be…

Yes, I would be ok if the English emails didn't mention reason, because the reasons for rejection in the emails are either nonsense or "does not meet acceptance criteria" and neither help you improve the nomination. -Paved Walking Path in a public park, rejection reason, "Nomination does not appear to be permanent or…
-
The irony of this whole thread is that I do get rejection reasons in my English emails, but they are almost totally useless. "Does not meet criteria" is the most common and it beyond not helpful. Just read through tje forums and you will see countless threads where nomination rejection reasons don't make any sense, and the…

*as long as they are NOT on single family private residences. I agree that there is a logic that they should be treated the same, but Niantic has explicitly stated that pools are to be treated differently.
-
The most recent AMA clearly indicated we no longer need a "named trail". Maybe you missed that? The sign is just the "visual indicator of the Wayspot" that @NianticCasey-ING said was necessary. The sign is not a "distance marker." It doesn't denote distance walked, but describes the distance of the path in total. The sign…

Can you share all of your submission? Title, description, map, supplemental, etc... by that picture alone, I don't know what you are submitting.
-
It's very frustrating because it feels like the nomination is being rejected without adequate viewing/consideration. A walking path very obviously meets the 3.1 acceptance Criteria. The AMA clarification further supports that this is meets eliligible criteria. I also believe that if reviewed with the same considerations as…

Im not sure what you are saying here. This isn't a dirt parth. It's a man-made paved walking path designed and installed to promote walking at the park. You can see that in the pictures and on satelite. The first rejection criteria was "does not meet acceptance criteria" which is not accurate. It does meet acceptance…

The swing set in the park doesn't need a fancy sign. The baseball field in the park doesn't need a fancy sign. The basketball court in the park doesn't need a fancy sign. Why are you holding this additional excersise promoting element of the park to a higher standard?
-
I'm not nominating the sign. I'm nominating the walking path.
-
If this was a treadmill in the park, it would be accepted readily without a sign. But because it's an ACTUAL walking path, you reject it because you don't like the sign?
-
The sign is a physical marker for the walking path. Do you deny that there is a walking path? You can see it in both map and satelite view. Named trails are not required, just a physical marker for the obvious trail. The new criteria lists hiking trails and biking trails as eligible examples under a great place for…
-
The correct procedure is to submit the current portal/stop as an invalid wayspot, as the original POI is no longer there. After it has been removed, you can submit a nomination for the new POI.
-
@NianticGiffard how do I submit this no-longer-existing wayspot if it was discovered in the review process and is not located near me?
-
Hello @1Deliriumisms-PGO , Your submission is ineligible as explained in the recent AMA (bolding added to point out why your submission is ineligible): With the criteria refresh, how has that change affected how reviewers should consider swimming pools? Similar to before the criteria refresh, swimming pools at private…

I agree with most of your summation. However, I don't think this nomination is flawed. Maybe a different image would be better, but the image as seen here is fine. Reviewers are just being lazy: assessing the waypoint on the image alone, not bothering to read the description or supporting information. Clicking on the…

I don't know if I represent the norm, but I like the title. Niantic's official stance on titles is as follows: Title Guidelines Do submit titles that are: -Official titles, if known -If no 'official' title, creative titles to distinguish it from other nearby Wayspots Don't submit titles that: -Include real names, initials,…
