• It is not "just a golden painted stone" and it is not "a few golden painted stones". They are not painted either. It is a professional design with a cultural value and it was commissioned by the municipality of Utrecht. Wether you like it or not, this really should remain as a valid portal.

The municipality of Utrecht decided to decorate the pavement by placing these tiles. It is an official thing. The street is called Gouden Koetslaan (Golden Carriage Avenue)…
