I am not using FB for those things, if there is a group on discord/telegram or something like it I would join.
-
So far had to reject quite some, but also approved some very nice submissions!
-
Awesome I was just looking to move my bonus location, so now I will help reviews here!
-
Same on iOS 15 here, can't submit anything without physically being on the spot.
-
Somewhere around midnight GMT
-
Since yesterday they appear to have switched to a daily sync for ingress also (had this happen to 3 submissions now). Did get the key and portal appear overnight. Is this correct @NianticTintino-ING ?
-
And another fake was spotted: (52.380189, 6.269905) Nothing is there as can be seen from streetview: https://www.google.com/maps/@52.3807217,6.2698883,3a,75y,187.89h,85.25t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1stmlQj5w4vJpzy_yWX3EenQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 And the picture below:

@NianticVK @NianticTintino Thank you for looking at these fake submissions and removing most of them. Unfortunately this fake one is still there: (52.402111, 6.276366) On satellite images you can also see that there are no trees there. Streetview shows the neighbourhood:…
-
Actually the same picture can be found on this way spot: (52.374544, 6.267623)
-
And another one here: (52.38042, 6.269998)
-
Next to this one there is also this one: (52.380062, 6.273653) Nothing there either
-
Interestingly this is exactly the same picture as shown in this topic: https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/18083/aanvraag and that one is in a neighbourhood without any trees.
-
@NianticVK @NianticTintino I see the wayspot has been removed, thank you. So what's next to keep this from happening?
-
The picture shows just the name of nearby towns and distances, but was passed off in previous thread as eligible. Which is indeed what @BatrachianAnura-ING is trying to point out these directional signs are pretty much on every crossing for bikes (which is almost every street in the Netherlands)
-
So @NianticGiffard this all relates to your comment on the trail marker discussion, where regular cycle signs are marked as good wayspots, as seen below: The map posted by @BatrachianAnura-ING is showing all of these signs in the Netherlands (which is bicycle heaven anyways). If you really want these wayspots. You could…
-
From an American perspective this might look like a good POI, but in Europe and especially the netherlands, there are just so many, why would that be favourable? Then you could pretty much just put a grid on the map and place a way spot every other cell..
-
Yes they are now indeed gone
-
Thank you @NianticVK for taking action. However, I checked all 4 wayspots that are reported here, and all four still exist in the games, why were these not removed (like the physical objects that are not there)?
-
If I want to see a beautiful environment with trees I would not go to a random neighborhood😂
-
The game is about exploration, if the object is not even present, then obviously there is nothing to explore so it doesn't require a wayspot. If Niantic would not care if objects are real and existing they would just place a random grid on the world and place wayspots randomly. But the nice aspect of niantic games is that…

Zwarte Moerbei 360°, 52.382808, 6.288724 Oh and here is another one, check the drill hole below the paper, which is identical to the other three.
-
I have a problem with people trying to game the system by creating wayspots that are not there, just to play a game in which you are supposed to walk and are instead sitting on the couch.
-
There is nothing to appeal here because there is a significant number still under review
-
Yes it is exactly the same block that gets moved everytime, you can see from the hole that is right under the sheet of paper. And you can see this on the 3rd wayspot that just went live as well: Meidoorn 360°, 52.378548, 6.269778 Furthermore, we just found out where the text on the papers is coming from:…
-
Thank you for restoring this portal as it is an interesting contribution to the wayspot network!
-
@NianticTintino It would be interesting for people that review a lot to help out such countries by moving their bonus location there temporarily. Can something like this be implemented? I would love to help out countries with a small number of wayspots and in this way get to virtually travel there and see the hidden gems!
-
What would make you want to apply to be a Community Advocate? I have done my fair share of both submitting and review wayspots. However, the number of low-quality submissions is making a lot of local players stop reviewing. If the submission quality can be improved it also leads to more reviews, as getting interesting…

Wayfarer 3.1 has updated guidelines. One of the thing mentioned in the release notes is the following: "We will be proactively reviewing previously rejected nominations that may have met the updated criteria." How exactly is this gonna work? There are likely millions of rejected submissions, so what will be the procedure…
