You usually don't get that much from your own region to avoid voting bias, and also if your near a big city your location might not be as prioritised as rural ones for example. In my area, I have to review like 200 wayspots for one more local one to show up

I sometimes even have this without plugins that it will load the first nomination instead of the contributions list. Inconvenient but you can just close that nomination usually
