I personally don't think there is much to improve the sign is likely in front of a private residence and looks like it could interfere with the residence as it is in between two drive ways to the property and is planted into the ground right next to one of them.
-
From the looks of it this is just a roadside sign for a city entrance meant for drivers to see not pedestrians. I can see why it got rejected niantic has mentioned things like this usually don't meet criteria and another point this looks to be in front of a private residential property from looking at the supporting photo…

Obstructs emergency services mentions industrial sites when rejecting a nomination. This building is industrial use and is basically the building where the plant is operated out of. I don't see how it would not be OES?
-
It is an industrial site more than anything which falls under obstructs emergency services. I wouldn't want the plant operations building for the water/sewage treatment plant to be a poi. Restricted access and I highly doubt the city wants employees playing an AR game in a restricted area with critical infrastructure.
-
I put it under obstructs emergency services as the reason to request removal as it's part of critical infrastructure. It wasn't just because of lack of public access.
-
Playgrounds promote exercise therefore valid as long as they don't meet the rejection criteria of being on a k-12 school property, are on single family residences or farms etc. The information boards are valid as long as they meet location criteria that isn't a rejection as well.
-
This nomination was reviewed by reviewers and not Niantic or the AI system. If you have rejection Reason(s) it has been reviewed normally.
-
Is it is possible to fix the layout on desktop to show the nomination photos, text, and supporting statements at the top of the nomination screen again? With the update you have scroll down and look at the left side of the screen to see the information and scroll back to the top and select the thumbs up or thumbs down. In…

I agree that the volleyball court and picnic areas should be submitted but so far they seemed to go for things that shouldn't be submitted. Bus stops aren't supposed to be submited if it isn't significant such as having a mural or unique. This one looks like a generic structure. Also wouldn't calling the place a Community…

I've been seeing similar low quality waypoints passing in my area someone got a sonic drive in menu board in the drive thru approved and all niantic did was remove the bad photo. Also got a report from another agent a Tmobile store in their area got approved. Either its colluding or people reviewing aren't following the…

This week sync has been around 12 hours later than it normally has since they did the sync that added photos to portals
-
There was a sync Thursday morning for ingress happened around 5am CDT.
-
Not sure because I didn't keep track of my banked upgrades. I had 96 when I last checked after people reported getting upgrades.
-
@NianticTintino I still haven't gotten an email with a passcode to redeem. I did several reviews in Indonesia and confirmed via intel one of my reviews did get approved. Not sure if there was an issue because I changed my bonus location from Indonesia back to the United States before the end of the review challenge. Agent…

Same here I checked on at least one nomination that I voted on and still did not get an email with the code for ingress. @NianticTintino-ING can you look into this and see why some of us never got a code but can confirm that we had approval agreements. I had my review location in Jakarta and I had an approval agreement for…

right now nothing new is showing up in either game it has been over 48 hours since ingress and pogo synced. I have a waypoint in my area that synced to pogo but it did not sync to ingress and was well over 20m away from the nearest poi. Niantic probably hasn't caught the fact that the games aren't syncing with lightship.
-
right now there are reports that sync with the lightship database is broken in both Pokemon Go and Ingress and until Niantic corrects the issue there won't be any new waypoints added to the gameboards.
-
Because it is a multiuse area. Even though there isn't plates for the bases that structure is technically a backstop for a baseball field.
-
This is not the community as a whole though. What I have actually noticed is some agents usually prefer culturally significant objects over parks etc. It is not everyone though. I think it has to do with how ingress started as an exploration game with agents adding to the very small number of portals when the game launched…

The Raven is not even on intel for ingress. I am guessing it is a nomination that has been in the queue for ages and potentially was upgraded by the person who nominated it we don't know.

The problem with trail markers is there no cookie cutter examples on what makes a trail marker. There markers with just visuals, others with wording etc. Having a cookie cutter list actually didn't help and trails in places like national parks were getting rejected while a common walking path in a city was approved because…

This is how I feel. There have been times when it did slow down to the point where the system was barely moving. I find it hard to keep interest when I see locals sending in their private residences for a point of interest. I understand parts of my area do not have a lot of valid objects to nominate but some of these are…

The number of nominations given to players is not the issue. It is lack of understanding the guidelines or the guidelines being ignored. As it is a small percentage of players are submitting waypoints.
-
The current amount of nominations per player isn't the issue. It is the lack of understanding or refusing to look up the rules during onboarding with new submitting players. I have heard people say they will just let it go in and see how it fares without even taking into consideration that they may be making things worse…

Playgrounds and athletic fields have been on the valid criteria list for a long time. Not everyone likes them but they are valid if they meet the location requirements, safe access, etc. I agree on the restaurant signs, So many taken from inside a vehicle when they order food. Lawn ornament submissions are going to happen…

The wording in each game submission tab when nominating leaves a lot desired. The wording gives Pokemon GO players the impression it is just reviewed by players of Pokemon Go and not ingress agents hence the overabundance of this will make a good stop or gym. The wording is giving a misleading impression of the target…

Honestly they should just make the event as part of the wayfarer challenge for those reviewing. As niantic rewards agents in ingress the bonus items for reviewing. Restricting it to India only is inconsiderate to those who participate and take their time to vote on Indian nominations via bonus location. They should place a…

What would make you want to apply to be a Community Advocate? - Provide feedback to wayfinders on criteria and improvements that could help them understand why their nomination was not approved. I already have had people ask me why did their nomination get approved submitting through pokemon go and not show up in game. I…

This is the issue I have seen. Some reviewers will just reject thinking the sign is generic because the sign may be mass produced but the actual information on the signs is what determines validity. Several trails in my area use similar signage markers over my metropolitan area does not make then invalid because the…

What I am personally seeing is a decline in checks and balances on quality and guidelines. My local featured nominations has been filled with nominations that would meet reject criteria. I personally think there are two issues going one group who are too strict on criteria thinking that wayfarer system needs a red line on…
