Because of the "Loop Line" sign they are valid trail markers, without them they would just be ineligible signposts. Perhaps some people are just seeing the signpost bit and missing the Loop sign. Take Photospheres and make sure thse are live on Google maps before resubmitting - they should go through.

As above. This is clearly not a "Playground", these are toys in the back garden of someones (your) home. First choice of rejection criteria - 1* Private Residential Property. Second Choice - "Abuse - Fake Nomination - deliberate attempt to create a fake Waypoint or couch portal" Take your pick.

When you submit a nomination for a Pokestop you are actually submitting a nomination for a Wayfarer Point of Interest. Your nomination will first need to move from "In Queue" to "In Voting" before it can be evaluated. It will need to be reviewed by multiple Wayfarers who will look at it, see if it meets the various Niantic…

"All your Pokemon have fainted....... . . . . ..............................Permanently"

Every other Gym I have heard about that has been move has reverted to a Pokestop. REad through the forums, there are multiple threads along the lines of "Where did my Gym go / Can we have the Gym back please". You may have moved Gyms before, but the "new" restrictions on edit distances and the number of active Stops or…

At the moment, nobody can currently submit an Appeal via the system, it's off line untill they fix a bug in it.
-
How is a generic hotel meeting any of the eligibility criteria? Hotel signs like this are not normally accepted.
-
I can't see enough of your nomination to be sure, or any location details for where the POI was placed. but my first thought is that it is likely to have been removed for "no pedestrian access".
-
You do realise if this edit went ahead and your Gym moved, you would lose the Gym, as it would revert back to a Pokestop after moving.
-
It's a standard, older style "General Post Office" buried cables marker. Mass produced, generic, not interesting, not eligible - immeadiate 1* rejection. Meets no Niantic criteria.
-
It's public - fine. No problem with access. What is it though? It's a little brass sign - apparently your local reviewing community don't think its a great place to explore, be social or get fit. I agree with them, it is not eligible as a Waypoint. As for the second one, thats a poor photo of an "Ancient Statue" if we…

Niantic have said pins should be placed at the edges of play areas like tennis courts or football fields, not in the middle of the play area. Not every Niantic game has an 80m action radius, and the 80m distance for PoGo is still described as "temporary", it will probably return back to the orginal 20m one day. Then what?…

Types a lot - then counts to 10 - refuses to rise to the bait.

What criteria does this business / directional sign meet?

Supporting Photo:

Again, just because you are of the opinion that something "deserves" to be a Stop does not mean it should be accepted. That is on par with the frequesnt request on nominations for a "a Pokestop here because all the others are too far away and it's not fair". You need to demonstate how this restaurant meets the criteria…
-
No. Just make sure your supporting photo show bith the waypoint and enough of the surrounding area so reviewers can establish the location. Posting a picture of some pavement to show "safe pedestrian access" is pointless and of no help.
-
Niantic encourage exploration and excercise. Go on, make the effort, who knows what you may discover if you walk more than 130m....
-
All of the photos look fine, but you really need some much better description / supporting info to "sell" this cafe. At the moment you info is very basic and gives no information as to why this particular cafe, out of all the other similar sites, should be a Waypoint.
-
This is why you have the "20m rule", and also presumeably why PoGo players want Niantic to keep the "80m spin distance"....... 😀
-
As an example - PRP or K-12. An object like a statue or a "play area" is eligible, but when you look at the location you see it is in the garden of a single-residence property, which makes it ineligible. Simlarly, a "play area" in the grounds of a school is not eligible because of the K-12 rules. Ignore the postbox outside…
-
Guest house or not, how does a sign with the name of the house meet Niantic criteria? If you nominated a statue you might get it approved, but I would not consider a lump of stone like this to meet any criteria.
-
Don't confuse "eligible" with "must be accepted". EIIR postboxes are certainly neither, there is some debate of the "Georges" with Edward and Victoria seen as acceptable.
-
Then a "secondary bar" does not meet any criteria.
-
There is nothing in your photo that meets any criteria. Parks etc need an "anchor point" for the Waypoint - usually a sign or similar. A "Public Footpath" similarly is not eligible. Your nomination is just showing a patch of grass and some pavement - 1* does not meet criteria. "Lack of Pokestops" is not a reason for…

Photosphere is a separate App. Make it via the app, submit to Google Maps and wait until that goes live before submitting your Nomination. I have lost track of the number of nominations I've had for review that say "photosphere submitted" but there is nothing to see during the review.
-
Niantic used to provide 3 reasons in the old rejection e-mail. You now see the reasons on your Nominations page. Problem is, there are only 2 display slots for these, and 3 reasons. They cycle through the 3 reasons with the 2 slots, so it is likely to change each time you view.
-
Medical clinic - 1* rejection for "Does not meet criteria".
-
Actually, that method of Gym creation sounds like it works exactly how it was designed to work, it's a nice simple way of working out which Stop should become a Gym on a "random" basis. What Niantic didn't do was figure in the fact the community would work out how the process was controlled, then use it to game the system.

Because they only have enough backup tape cartridges to do one backup per day, and the guy who swaps the tapes only pops in once per day at 17.30 PST? They can only do the synch after the tape finishes? (Then again, perhaps I am thinking computing processes in the days when I used to try to sell people "massive" 750Mb (Yes…
