@Danbocat-PGO Could we get a working as intended sticker on this? It's fairly obvious that the white flashing between each review is an intended function. I haven't touched the reviewing since this "feature" was added. I won't run the risk. I would have @NianticTintino because he hasn't followed up on this but there…

It got marked like that because some reviewers are incompetent and will chose picture because it isn't up to their overly picky standards. The license plate isn't legible so that's stupid to pick it because of that reason. Your options are resubmit with the same picture or take a new one if you can get a better one. I…

@Fleur718-PGO The minimum description/title should be what would allow someone the locate the place if stated the name. Your city/town usually has a list of playing fields with names on a website if not use street names. That should help with the playing fields.

So, how should I "sell" you the park? Are you more interested in the swing set being a squeak free delightful gliding experience or the fact the the dog waste station is always stock with fresh bags for picking up. I can't even say you're doing it wrong because we're allowed to use judgement. I just don't see the point in…

Maybe we could get a slightly more useful explanation of what made them invalid? I'm thinking: letting the submitted know if it is the subject matter or location ie k-12 school, or other similar invalid location. That might be useful for future improvment.

As an anti-bot measure, there are most likely 5 * honeypots but I think it's something as simple as must not equal1* to take into account different opinions to actual score. The reasons for 1* are more numerous and can cost money in the form of staff hours removing stuff so I don't think they're anywhere as numerous as the…

They may have honeypot that need to be accepted in the mix. It's probably something much easier than must be a certain score. It's probably just must not equal 1*.

I included the picture for a recently accepted portal nomination. I took about 8 different photos. This was the only angle I could get that had no people in it. Curious to how many pictures people take of something they want to submit? It is the Choate House located in Crane Wildlife Preserve and is accessible by boat so I…

I'm waiting on approval for a post with an attached picture. Basically, I'm wondering what quality of photo you'd approve if you knew that the submitter couldn't go back to take one and it is very unlikely someone would submit same subject matter. It's probably relevant because people will be visiting relatives and will be…

They may have been confused about St. John's Preprotory School being close. It's not on school property. It's trails owned by town of Danvers. I don't know what you linked in the support statement by this is a website showing it:
-
It would probably be easier to see a ribbon of duplicates on the nomination page within wayfarer so you wouldn't waste an upgrade say months later when it finally gets an upgrade.

I have a nomination in voting for a restaurant. It has 5 separate write-ups in magazines/newspapers. It was featured on TV. The head chef has been on 2 TV shows. I am expecting to be rejected to be honest. Reviewers really hate restaurants.
-
If you played Ingress and submitted missions for review then you would know why they chose not to give reasons. I just pulled an old e-mail from a mission rejection and none of the four reasons were applicable. I would expect the same result if they gave reasons for nomination rejections.

It is not unreasonable for the Wayfarer team to look into a specific question about a specific poi and either give the typical not all pois appear in all games if the spacing rules look like they been properly applied or it's blacklisted due to property owner's request. If it appears to be bugged then they should relay the…

The reason why most people nominate something is to have it appear in their game of choice. If I have something accepted I expect to have it appear in game provided it meets historical spacing requirements. There's no reason for me nominate and upgrade if it doesn't. 5% were mistakes and to close but that's my error but I…

They haven't been syncing new poi's in pokemon go everyday. It may show up in a few days.
-
It is probably a can't find it thing. What does your support picture and streetview look like?
-
I can't check pokemon go for that one for several weeks but it is in Ingress because key and intel show it.
-
No. I have an approval dated Oct 24 12:34am EST. I received the key and credit for portal discovered.
-
It's obviously the owner of the business. There should be a contact method on the business. Pick up the phone or send her an e-mail. Explain that she really should log in and withdraw the duplicates. If spacing rules only mean that she could have one pokestop then explain that. Bans are temporary and if she continued to…

If Cupid's span is in showcase, then spinning a stop or hacking portal should reset it. Otherwise you just end up with stuff in home location and not current play area. If you have the regular showcase and still get it, you may have reviewed most everything. If you're comfortable reviewing in English set your bonus for…

It S cells so not exactly 25km or 12km. So the stuff on the edge is best on-site. But taking pictures, thinking looking up information makes for better nominations. @PkmnTrainerJ-ING Anything I'd care about for pokemon has fit within 10km. Further is usually ticks on portals discovered or remote portal keys.
-
Generally, I wait a few weeks to re-submit unless there's a good reason to re-submit right away such as being a specific location. It allows you to get a fresh batch of reviewers or at least give these ones a chance to forget they've rejected this before. Plus, cooling off after the anger of rejection let's me be…
-
Take pictures of everything. You can do a remote submit if within 12kms. I take pictures and think about stuff a lot.
-
The word "abuse" in the title is suggestive of punishment rather than problem solving. I find hard core reviewers to be unforgiving of casuals. It is important to remember that most are casual and don't understand what goes on after they submit. As frustrated as we get, let's focus on solving issues rather than raging…
-
This really looks like people are angry that a business got accepted and are looking to have it removed when the easier solution is to change the text and remove the duplicates. Casuals submitting again after not hearing back must be very common. People not be familiar with withdrawing options are also I expect very…

@Gendgi-PGO They're attempting to compete with Google Maps Platform Gaming Services. If you take a look at what Google Maps you'll get an idea of what they're doing. It's trying to get most of what's on Google maps plus the random other stuff we're already approving. Hopefully, this gives a wee bit of insight to the love…

The nomination with pokemon in the description was determined to be eligible by Niantic reviewers since it showed in pogo only. To say that one is spamming an ineligible nomination is incorrect. Niantic has the final say and they accepted it. Ideally, the description text would be changed and the definite duplicates would…
