Different people will have added photos to an existing POI l, either by submitting that plaque as a novel POI (and voted as a duplicate) or by just adding an additional photo. Then in one of the games this photo will have been voted on until it gets enough votes and become the default image.

@NianticVK The POI shouldn't have been retired as it is opposite a different plaque which is a separate POI in the Rose Garden....please could you look again? The photosphere for the memorial shows all 3 POIs in the garden.…

It goes both ways ****, each game has its own mechanics on what POIs get synced to the respective games from the Lightship database of POIs. The above is a nomination I made in ingress and PoGO stole it. I hardly ever play PoGO so how's that fair...I jest!! I was maybe annoyed for 2 seconds!! Ingress hasn't done anything…

Very disappointing, sync didn't happen last night again.....10 POIs accepted since this sync issue started. My last POI accepted and synced successfully was the morning of 27th Feb so that's at least 5, maybe 6 syncs that haven't happened now. Wayfinding and Nominating has been a big part of my game play the last 2 years…

I don't think it's right to make accusations on an open forum like this. For instance, my home portal has just been smashed by a visiting agent who has travelled for over an hour to field over my area....that's just the game! The planning application is good evidence that the POI should remain, which NIA have seen and done…

Have been great since OPR days apart from when PoGO 1st joint the reviewer base when it took a while to stabilise, maybe dropped to good once since then....but about 2 weeks ago, dropped to good again after doing ~250 reviews then dropped to fair which it has stayed at since. I have done ~50 reviews over the last 4 days…

I think one of the fundamental issues with this argument is that people can't make a distinction between "Does this meet criteria" and "Should this example be an appropriate waypoint". I think that we can all agree that NCN markers meet criteria as spelled out by NIA clarification but this does not mean that ALL NCN…

Ever since the Lightship database switch credits haven't been applied to your ingress stat......That is until late Friday as they now seem to have fixed it......just have to hope that they retrospectively credit the missing ones now 🤞😥
