The only options to justify removal here seem to be related to safety and ownership of land. There are other reasons something should be removed, such as it is fake or no longer there.

All my upgraded noms are now resolved - I had not reported the second two. While there is still a delay compared to the almost immediate change I would have seen in the past it is now more like hours rather than days.

I subbed my local EIIR and two others nearby twice each before realising they would never get through. On the subject of upgrades, I was encouraged by my sub going into voting and so upgraded another. But as yet, it has not moved, and no decision on the first one yet.

If it's an EIIR postbox it will get rejected as it is not unique enough - 60% of UK postboxes are EIIR, that's around 30k.

Yes thank you. I have nearly earned a new upgrade, which I will apply to the most eligible thing I have in the queue. If that still does not move then there are still problems… we shall see. Yeah nothing changed for mine either @KatiRoseS-PGO. I have even had other submissions accepted in the meantime that were not upgraded, and others move into voting. They are not exactly the same location but I don't know how Niantic break down areas as far as that goes. Is it a particular S2 Cell system?

i do not know the details of this strike but assume is connected to increased prices. Since that happened a few weeks back it seems odd that upgrades would be affected now. I’ll have to take your word for it.

@NianticAaron there is a general thread about this ( Why is my upgraded nomination still in voting?) with many examples. It may not be a bug but this is not the behaviour we are used to, where upgrades are resolved within a week at the very most.

I tried to apply an "upgrade next" to an existing nomination In Voting but got the E2 error. I'll try applying it manually when the upgrade is ready and see if that works. Unless there is a date cutoff when this is true? EDIT: I was able to apply the upgrade once available, even if "upgrade next" wasn't working. I guess…

My first appeal after they were reopened was turned around within the month, but the second was not and now I have a third in as well. Hopefully things will pick up. I would resubmit my second one (comic book store) but it is not local enough to do it without travelling.
