Condo building signage being incorrectly labeled as private residence.

Additional Information:

Rejection reasons are invalid because:

  1. Real world location is not a private residence or farm. It is a location that is accessible to the public and there are even public jogging paths clearly visible from Google Maps Street View at the location.
  2. The location is neither a generic store or restaurant. In fact, the location is not generic as it is a publicly recognized landmark in the Saujana area, besides the Saujana Resort located 200km opposite the road.
  3. The nomination meets pretty much every single criteria stated by Niantic, having a cultural, historic or social value. The submitted image has both the signage and the building with which it is named after behind it.

Thank you for your kind consideration.

Yours truly,

An avid wayfarer.

This tab is not for nomination appeals: “nomination appeals not accepted.”

getting random nomination rejection reasons is annoying.

However, Niantic has been very vocal in the past that apartment complex signs are not eligible - They would need something historical/cultural/or very artistic to be accepted. The sign in the photo looks generic and not artistic. The description does not say how in any way it is historical. Did the supporting text show how this apartment sign could be historical or cultural?

I would say that the nomination does not fit any criteria. It doesn't have any of those values, it's not cultural (just a complex sign), not historic (unless you prove otherwise) and the social value is the same that any other street sign.
