Comments
I have had this glitch or bug for two days, I hope this gets resolved soon!
This helps no one. Please refrain from accusations.
This is not true unless you can provide information. Several of my friends were ale to review again and did not post here.
@NianticCasey-ING Just an update. I was able to do about 25 reviews this morning for the first time in four days, sadly I haven't been able to do any for a couple hours. For me this is abnormal behavior. Thank you for any assistance or information you can provide.
My wife and I also were able to do about 20 reviews each today before the same issue with no nominations appeared again. I agree that with the previous commenters that said that this still feels abnormal. Previously, every few minutes, another review would be available after receiving the "no nominations available" message, which is not the case now.
The issue is happening to me for 4 days at least
Both mine and my husband’s accounts have had this same problem since noon Wednesday.
any update??
The issue has been fixed in my account (Peru). I hope Niantic give us some info about what happened and if they have made some changes to the review system. I still see some nominations from Ingress Redacted (the ones that only have 1 pic) so there is probably still a limbo.
FioriParty, have you done any nominations? I got to exactly 26 when it stopped me again. I'd be curious to know what other objective information others can submit to help alleviate this problem.
1 picture doesn't necessarily mean it's a Redacted submission. I've only ever played Ingress in Prime, but the system "eats" the supporting photo and text on about 5% of my submissions. Editing the supporting text back in (in Wayfarer) recovers the photo, but not all submitters will necessarily double-check all their submissions in Wayfarer before they get into voting.
Just happened to me, didn't (Agreements before: 2091 - now 2126) and no more nominations to review.
Same screen, waiting for a new update.
PS: Just before getting this screen I had to prove I'm not a robot (captcha), maybe that's related?
I don't think the Robot Check is a contributing factor, at least in my experience. When I have the time I push out 30 to 60 minutes worth of nominations and have seen the Captcha Bot a few times, no issues and I keep reviewing.
I'm new in comparison to many of you, is the Captcha new?
Updated: Fixed for me today at the morning. Thanks for make this thread.
How many reviews have you gone through, and did it happen again? It appears some people are getting 10-30 reviews and right back to the same.
Ok i spoke too son :( i just reviewed around +50 nominations and the "No more nominations available appeared again" , the problem persists
i really hope that Niantic is not limiting the amount of nominations we can review per day
It wouldnt be a daily thing then, maybe weekly? Still...awful.
I'm having the same problem since a lot of days... Isn't working yet
News about this?
I have this same problem for 6 days
I believed that was me cuz I was rating to many proposals
Thanks if u know something
Hi folks,
I wanted to provide a quick update regarding this issue. After working through it with the Wayfarer team, a change was made on the backend to address what was causing these messages to appear and you should now see nominations to review.
One thing that we found was a significant contributor was Wayfarers submitting reviews too fast (faster than would really be possible to be actually reviewing the nomination), so if you run into this issue again I suggest taking the time to more thoroughly review the nominations you're seeing.
Thanks for your patience and to those who called this out for us.
Thanks for the update.
How quickly are we supposed to have access to more nominations to review again? Mine is still saying "No nominations to review" even after logging out and back in again. 🙁
Not to be contrary, but I'm a pretty slow reviewer so it feels like there's something more to this issue than simply speed. I hope the team can get this sorted out quickly.
thanks @NianticCasey-ING for the update. yes i can review this after 2 days of absence and it felt good.
btw, a small feedback about reviewing too fast. generally for item of 1star nature, the 1st picture itself could be a clear indicator ie, resided in private residence, watermark, a tree, hydrant etc. so it wont actually take more than 10 seconds to complete the review normally, and there is no need to scroll to each segment. similar case is for duplicate & edits as well
i hope the dev team can put this into consideration prior to tagging any reviewer as bot or reviewing too fast and being penalized later.
thanks
Thank you for the update @NianticCasey-ING. I am able to review again which is wonderful. I am unsure about the part about reviewing too fast. I have been reviewing between OPR/Wayfarer for a year now and generally speaking the average review takes 15-20 seconds. Between looking at the photo, reading the title, description reviewing the supporting detail, checking to ensure to location is accurate, and even categorizing the nomination. Rejecting some obvious low quality nominations take even less time. I ensure I carefully review each nomination, so I struggle with the idea that my 4 day lock out was related to reviewing too fast.
Thank you for your help and for the update. Both my wife and I received about 25 reviews today, after which the "no nominations available" message constantly appears, same as over the weekend. This issue has also affected other commentors above.
I actually did try to slow down while reviewing on my account. While the time taken on reviews may be a factor into this bug, it still appears that there is something else wrong. When you say that submitting reviews too fast can cause this issue, there's also concerns with that. There are some obvious 1-star nominations that could easily be reviewed in under 5 seconds for experienced/fast reviewers.
Please keep following up on this. There is obviously still something wrong with the system.
I'm still not getting reviews, so this is not yet resolved for me. But I will keep waiting.
And honestly it literally takes seconds to review duplicates, Starbucks, fire hydrants, photo water marks, etc... Are you really expecting us to sit looking at these for a minute? I'm skeptical that your database is that bad that it has problems with reviews of a few seconds...
This!. Many times i get bad nominations in a row and they're all 1 star deserving and it doesn't take me minutes to decide that. 1 look at the nomination pic and 1 star it is. I don't have to look at everything else.
Echoing many here, mine was also fixed last night and I was able to go through 35 nominations before reaching "No more nominations available to review" message again. Then it persisted until now so now wondering if this is just a temporary fix.
I agree with this. I have been getting many obvious in private residence submissions, duplicate ones (scroll to map and oooppps), and many, many trees, stones, communication towers, water supply meters, electrify substations. How long am I supposed to take to reject this obvious submissions?
I would like to take longer to review - I do for those that have potential like playgrounds marked wrongly...and I search the streetview (if there is any) to help move the pointer. But for these obvious ones, do I just waste time?
Can something be written in where if the reviewers have a history of being correct - agreements matching these fast rejects, we don't get penalised?
Nothing's changed, I'm still stuck at "There are no nominations available to review at this time." , it has been 3 days now.
This is not resolved.
@NianticCasey-ING posted the following and marked the thread resolved.
"Hi folks,

This issue is NOT resolved, as was posted immediately after the thread was marked resolved. Many wayfarers, including myself, are still experiencing this. As for the clarification, what exactly is the time limit you feel is "appropriate" for a review? As some more seasoned reviewers posted (whom have reviewed thousands of waypoints) it takes them, with their knowledge, 15-30 seconds to review a stop. Personally, i spend roughly 60-90 seconds reviewing. Between familiarizing myself with the guidelines an clarifications, it is not exactly a "difficult" process as you seem to be hinting at.
I assume you view the threads somewhat regularly, Casey, and you have noticed MANY people are abstaining from the process until the sudden spike of rating drops to red, and now the "no nominations" bug.
Please continue to work with the Wayfarer team to ACTUALLY resolve these issues.
Thank you.
We already have a cooldown system - AFAIK that can be from 4hrs to 24 hrs. What extra purpose would "x days no new nominations". Also "found ONE reviewer" this all sounds a little "blaming the customer" to me.
We are not a customer. We are a freelancing intern, at best. Without wayfarers, their game never wouldve been done on the scale it is.
