Location Abuse

There is a Plugin/tool/website/map i use. This plugin saves my reviews from wayfarer. I regularly look back at those reviewed nominations to see if any of them appeared on the intel map.

While doing this I came across a POI that I had already rejected 2 times for "mismatched location", but which came into Ingress anyway. After further research I found out the location of this wayspot, it turned out to be clearly wrong.

Portal name: Plaquette Volkgezondheid en Cultuur

Current location: https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=53.035658,5.665946&z=17&pll=53.035658,5.665946

Real location: https://goo.gl/maps/ynz93Na9ADeAECAXA

Next to this wayspot was another wayspot, which is a trail junction. I found the location of this quite odd and when I went to look around the area, this wayspot turned out to be somewhere else.

Portal name: Fietsnetwerk 80

Current location: https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=53.03552,5.666347&z=17&pll=53.03552,5.666347

Real location: https://goo.gl/maps/31zidj6sLtYTw2pC9

NOTE: Make sure you use the street from 2018! Because the sign was temporarily removed in 2021 due to construction work as you can see on the street view.

When those 2 wayspot are placed correctly, they are in the same s17 cell as this wayspot: https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=53.034977,5.667189&z=17&pll=53.034977,5.667189 so they won't come online as a pokéstop and then those 2 are also very close to each other, so they probably wouldn't come online in ingress.

I suspect that the submitter misplaced the locations on purpose, and thereby he/she abused his/her nominations, especially considering the fact that the "Plaquette Volkgezondheid en Cultuur" portal was misplaced at least 2 times in a specific location. (I dont know how many times the submitter submitted these nominations, since i can't review all nomination in my area).
