Additional information: There are two wayspots about the very same statue with even a practically same name. The wayspots are 9 meters apart and are clearly visible in satellite images at the same statue ('szobor' in Hungarian). The photo of the other one is a close-up and the other is taken from a distance - but still clearly showing the exact same statue.

I ask Niantic to remove the duplicate wayspot mentioned above.
Also I have to wonder how on earth does a request to remove a duplicate wayspot this obvious get rejected? Is the sole purpose of reporting wayspots via scanner to make it more difficult for us users so there would be less editing needed on the Niantic end? Nowadays basicly all reports done via Ingress scanner are rejected and it seems that nobody even looks at them. All reports are just basically rejected in order to get users to report them at the forums with proper evidence. This of course causes that most people will not go through this trouble to actually appeal at the forums so there's less work to do, but couldn't you just remove the option to report anything via scanner as it clearly is not for reporting but just to verify that one is present at the wayspot in question?

Thanks for the appeal, @ForzaComo-ING! After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Wayspot in question.
