PART 1: SIGNATURE ITEMS

The submitter has "decorated" several submissions with FCZ (soccer club Zurich) fan items. They are white and blue and may read "FCZ", "Südkurve", "Züri isch ois", and/or "1896".

I suspect *all* photos inside the stadium that were submitted by this person are copied from elsewhere.

Source unknown, watermarked "Schweizerisches Sozialarchiv". Also not a wayspot photo anyway:

That's it... for now.

Closing remark: The person behind these submissions tends to submit LOTS of photos. Many of the ones that aren't clear guideline violations are still of low quality. They may be hazy as if taken with a dirty camera lens, near-duplicates taken from slightly different viewpoints, or only have the wayspot at the border of the image, in a way that would be appropriate for "show the surrounding area" photos but not for proper wayspot photos. I will not report those for the time being. But if a Niantic employee is going to review the submissions from these accounts, consider removing low-quality submissions as well. There are plenty of other photos.

    Any update on this?

Anyways. There's more. Some of this may be a stretch, but the sum of it all seems too unlikely to be coincidental. Here goes.

    PART 3: SUSPECTED VANDALISM

    "Brunnen bei der Wartau", https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=47.40241,8.493154

Once upon a time, there was an FCZ tag on a bench.

    Then it disappeared.

    Then it appeared again.

I can't help but think that some FCZ-obsessed wayfarer vandalized the bench anew for another photo. At the very least, they seem to have put deliberate focus on the tag (rather than the fountain) in the first photo. All photos with the tag on the bench should be removed in my opinion.

"Fountain Singlistrasse 1980", https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=47.403037,8.496212 - watch another FCZ tag appear...

    Before:

    After:

Also two photos with a faint tag on the column, submitted through Ingress by the same person.

"Brunnen Meierhofplatz", https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=47.402029,8.499121 again - 1 photo in addition to what I reported in my previous post (one of the previously-reported photos also has an FCZ tag in the background that I didn't notice before).

Neither older nor newer photos have this tag, it must have been cleaned away or painted over in a rather short amount of time. Again, I can't help but think that the submitter sprayed it themselves.

"Brunnen beim Schwert", https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=47.399512,8.505059 - 2 photos. Same spray paint color as before...

See how the main object (the fountain) is off center so all the tags are neatly captured?

"Kappelle in der Bäulistrasse", https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=47.401006,8.501093 - 1 photo with various tags. Looks like fans of opposing soccer teams spraying over each other's tags.

"Imbisbühlstrasse Fountain", https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=47.402324,8.495635 - 1 photo with a fan sticker on a road sign

"Wandbrunnen am Meierhofplatz", https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=47.402164,8.499429 again - 1 photo in addition to what I reported in my previous post.

Besides the vandalism, I also found one more signature item, unsurprisingly submitted by the same person.

    "Pariser Brunnen (1870)", https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=47.375374,8.538917 - 1 photo

And while we're at it, this wayspot has two photos that belong to the neighboring one ("Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi-Denkmal").

Arguably, the two detail shots at the bottom also violate photo guidelines: "Well composed - the Wayspot or placemarker is centered without too much foreground or background".

Is there any progress? It has been more than two months since my original post, and the guideline-violating photos are still in the games.
