Re: K 12 POI

Hi, @NianticGiffard . This place is a secondary school that also participates in the International Baccalaureate programme. (It deserves to be a so-called high school, doesn't it?). URL of the relevant page of the school School's official website URL The position of the pin is probably only stuck in the garden of that… -
Re: Portal removed without explanation
This is directly from the description of the "Pedestrian Access" rejection reason in Wayfarer: Note that it is not sufficient to be able to access the nomination from a nearby sidewalk. There must be a pedestrian walkway or a trail leading all the way to the object. We have had similar statements from Niantic for years, so… -
Supplementary information to encourage high ratings in POI judgments

I will now lay out the two POI proposals. The proponent claims that his proposal should be highly appreciated. This proposer is familiar with the judging criteria. Therefore, it is clear that he is making these supplementary explanations knowing that they are against the rules. Note that these proposals were for a sea tile… -
Re: Wrongly removed portal with evidence of why it should be restored

As @Tim20000 himself writes in the original post, and as can be confirmed, it is not a single family housing. There's a plaque in the door of the school that could be useful if I resubmit (although it… -

Re: Not Accepted Idiocy
From the criteria. "Sensitive Locations Sensitive locations such as funeral homes, burial grounds, cemeteries, and graveyards should generally be avoided out of respect, but gravestones are eligible for consideration if it is publicly accessible and it belongs to a historical figure or significant community figure."… -
Re: Are subdivision signs now acceptable?
Keep in mind that we can't reject things anymore. It's not based a five star system. Consider the questions: First the screening questions ... Is the location appropriate to be visited by pedestrians? - Uh, sure, as long as their it's not private property. It's likely community property. Is the location safe and publicly… -
Re: Advice Needed on Rejected Nomination
Yeah flats are fine. Private residential rejections are for houses for 1 family to live in, not apartment blocks or converted big houses with multiple families in. I would mention it is now a block of flats. Gated doesn't matter - even if it's only accessible by residents and visitors, because those people have pedestrian…
