@iFrankmans-ING If I may offer some additional input for when you confront Niantic on their handling of trail markers: I tried appealing a trail marker that was rejected by the reviewers, and the appeal was also rejected by Niantic, saying that it didn't qualify because the trail marker "wasn't unique". I'm not convinced that would pass many reviewers as a trail marker - it's more of distance post. Trail markers represent part of the trail - you're effectively nominating the section of trail with the trail marker acting as placeholder for that section. -

While processing another marker I noticed that at that spot there are 2 pokestops already approved that are exactly the same at the exact same location (well on the map it's like a meter apart) In my eyes these are the exact same pole. First screenshot is the address. -

Submitting trail marker nominations
Are trail markers a good idea for a nomination? For example: - markers in the mountains or nature reserves, - markers in zoos, -historical trail markers, -markers of tourist trails, -markers of tourist trails, -sports school markers (e.g. riding trail). Of course, we are talking about permanent markers in the form of signs… -
Trail marker
It's a trail marker. It has the trails name on it. I didn't expect it to get accepted and only submitted this as a test (where I live ALL trail markers get rejected, even the ones that look more impressive than this one) but generally speaking this meats the criterea I guess. -
