Re: No matter how valid the stop is, the rejection is nearly instant.
As @Hosette-ING has mentioned try to include landmarks in your supporting photo that are visible in the current satellite and/or street view images if you can. Use a portion of your supporting statement to explain how the location can be verified, referencing your supporting photo or some other accessible source. -
Re: Portal is unreachable due to being in a high security area
Wayspots do not need to be accessible to everyone. Limited and restricted access Wayspots are permitted so long as they have safe pedestrian access by someone. People who work at this auto warehouse has access and it doesn't appear that loitering in the area will interfere with the warehouse's operation. -
Re: Baseball Field so good x2, Fitness/Gyms are bad
A foul ball pole is one of the most generic things you'll see at a baseball field. What's next, every base will be eligible? Every home plate? The base lines? It does remind me of the ball field scoreboards that get submitted, but aren't always accessible to pedestrians. I don't even think most people find them to be of… -
Invalid and unaccessible portal
Title of the Wayspot: Der Mammut Baum Location:53,0804620, 7,4025400 City: Papenburg Country: Germany This portal never was accessible as it stands on privat proberty, which is fenced next to the public walking way, also there were multiple times where kids were going straight to the fence to reach the portal which… -
Re: Encountered Wayspot: Sports Pitch Within Grounds of Police Headquarters
That Wayspot does not meet the removal criteria and any request to remove it will be rejected. There is no requirement for Wayspots to be accessible to the general public or at all time. Restricted and limited access Wayspots are still perfectly valid so long as they do not meet the removal criteria. Just because it exists… -
Re: portal on an industrial site, access is unsafe and closed for pedestrians
First of all: being on a privately owned site is not, and never was, grounds for rejection or removal. Being on private residential property is, but that one refers to single-family homes and farms, so that one's clearly out of the question. Secondly: a portal doesn't have to be accessible to everyone or all the time. If… -

@LukeAllStars-PGO @NianticGiffard please explain why this portal was removed. This Portal was a GYM in Pokemon Go. Re: Playgrounds in private residential complexes
The way I’ve always heard it, if it’s accessible to multiple residents, it can be considered as a POI/waypoint provided other conditions are met. TBH, it does make me kinda meh, but unless something changed, a playground in a residential complex like you described should be eligible, provided it isn’t a playground on a… -
Re: Can a bridge be nominated to be a wayspot?
This is what Niantic has said about bridges: What types of bridges are and aren’t eligible? In general, think about the specific bridge and whether it’s a clear and differentiable location for other players to find. Also, if a location is somehow important to the community, it would also be a good candidate. Our guidance… -
