@SeaprincessHNB-PGO the 7M x 6.5M goal posts in the picture kinda beg to to differ although it could be multi story parking. 🙄 I've seen fields with nothing on them at all as wayspots. The entire pitch is fully visible. The wayspot it positioned at the entrance to the pitch to make it accessible as per wayfarer guidelines.… -

A wayspot doesn't need to be accessible to the public to be a wayspot. As long as it is accessible to people, it is a valid waypoint, there are waypoints inside of gated apartment communities, theme parks, and other examples. All are still valid. Wayspots don't need to be accessible 24/7/365, and base personnel count as members of the public for this purpose. They would clearly have quite regular and safe access to these locations, meaning the wayspots should fall under Giffard's statement of exceptions. Is there any other reason you're trying to get this removed… -

Try and link maps of public rights of way to the nomination. There may not be a pavement/sidewalk but there is often a right of way in an adjacent field where players can access the waypoint. My example here, I knew people would see no pavement and reject it. However I knew the field was accessible to public. -

I don’t mean to nit pick, but aboriginal peoples are the indigenous people of Australia 😉 But yes, a Marae (New Zealand) is accessible to local iwi and some are also open to the wider community, so I would say as eligible as any other POI that whilst not be accessible to all, is still accessible to some, therefore valid…
