Abuse of the detector's ignorance

Location: 18.97736902494786, 105.60116607285501 We received a nomination from a Wayfayer group in Vietnam based on a silly criterion. According to the information we received, we know that this nomination was approved by Niantic or was successfully appealed (not approved by the player). Banking is not necessarily a… -

Pokestop Submissions: Google Maps Satellite Images Not Updated

For those of you PokeStop Submission Experts, Do we know if Google Satellite images effect the approvals of PokeStop Submissions? Example: In my neighborhood, there is a fully functioning and accessible "Esencia Sports Park" with plenty of safe public spaces and walkways and I've submitted photos of the facilities and… -
Re: Conflicting rejection reasons between email and nomination list
A footpath is not needed "for everything", if your trig point had a direct walking route to it (ie in some publically accessible open space) thats fine, no problem. What I am referring to are those Trig Point submissions I've seen where the Waypoint is slap bang in the middle of a cultivated field - no way to get to it… -
Newly awarded Upgrade auto assigned, leads to a rejection

*photos to follow* Submitted this POI on vacation 3 weeks ago, so it's not anywhere close to me for accessibility purposes. Anyhow, whilst reviewing, I was rewarded an upgrade. However, it was automatically assigned, and I did not get to choose which nomination it was for, if I even wanted to use it. This now leads to a… -
Should I try again?

This wayspot was ineligible for not having safe pedestrian access leading up to it. I've seen these welcome signs get approved everywhere and there are two at the other ends of this town already. I kind of get it. There's no sidewalk, but there is a wide shoulder leading to the spot and plenty of safe space around the… -
"What's that? (Required)" Improvement
"Based on the title, description, and photo, please choose the most specific label below." We have an issue with classifying certain types of small religious architectures here in Italy. We have Edicule, Tabernacles, Votive Niches, usually on buildings facing the streets (thus accessible to everyone without trespassing).… -
Confused about rejected wayspot

So I recently put in a suggestion for a local peice of artwork within a local park where loads of people go to walk dogs play in the park and have drinks at the cafe, lots of pokemon go players within out community have met there to do raids as well. This means it passes all criteria. 1) something unusual and unique… -
Re: Nomination help
How do I start a nomination for a pokéstop? I'm level 35 right now. Not yet at level 37, but I live too far to be able to travel out everyday to spin pokéstops. My Family and I run and Family business where we live and have a publicly accessible right away and lots of activity with a lot of other people besides me that… -
Re: Scout Hut Clarification
Fair enough. Rejection criteria only states K-12 schools (& daycares, etc), but when you start bringing in clarifications about "scout huts" and that very specific statement, then it seems that the point would presumably be to avoid any locations that are exclusively for <18s, since scout halls here are typically in much…
