Trail marker are refused too (and there is one trail marker a few meter away from the sign i suggest): an other submission i suggest trail marker and they are refused for the reason "Emplacement sensible" (like a cemetry) I wonder if for this one if i suggest it without speaking of the bridge, if it would have a better… -

A trail marker can't be unique. There are placed all along the trail... Niantic said that's the trail we evaluate, not the marker, the marker is just a physical thing used to create a wayspot. And all trail are necesseraly unique. Not good? i don't really see how a trail marker can be "not good" for "marker only pointing… -

Hello, could someone of the Niantic staff please explain what is wrong with this appeal? It is a trail marker from a 71.8km long bike and hiking trail and, as far as I know, trail markers are eligible way stops as they encourage people to go out and explore. If that was the case, not every trail marker should be eligible (because there can be more than one marker on a section of the trail) and the nomination should be the trail and not the specific markers. -

If there is pedestrian access to the biking trail it is eligible. You need some kind of representative for the trail. E.g. a trail head, trail marker or trail sign
