Re: 40 meter rule
Alright nevermind on my previous post, re-submit of the trail marker got it through. Apparently Google street view was really deceiving and put the marker square on someone's driveway by default, whereas satellite view actually did the correct thing, but because street view was default, maybe a lot of reviewers didn't… -
Re: PSA: Street View app to be discontinued soon
I fail to see how people benefit from creating a fake trail marker in the middle of nowhere, like they often genuinely are, because ..it's in the middle of nowhere. I have had trail markers rejected as mismatched location that have the name of the trail marker written on it and the map clearly shows only a small area has… -
Trail/Trail Marker submission improvement

Hi all, I'm looking for feedback regarding this trail marker sign. To my understanding, trail markers for biking and walking trails are acceptable with the latest criteria. With both walking and cycle markers, I see several factors to consider like: The location where the marker is. A junction of trails with a great view, or an urban marker with another the same 20 metres away. Is it a generic marker… -

Advice on a future appeal.

I'm hoping to appeal this rejected Wayspot: This is a permanent, cast-iron directional sign/trail marker for a nature trail and it was rejected for being "temporary or seasonal", which is incorrect given that it's been here for as long as I can remember and it certainly shows its age. I felt I was descriptive enough in its…
