I'm going to have to search hard for a source on this, but I'm pretty sure it was once said by Niantic that a sole arrow on a pole is not eligible as a trail marker in a city area. I could be eligible in a rural area however.. Is there anyone who can remember this with me..? It was not an AMA, but a question posted on this… -

Definitely difficult. Some people are too fussy, but remember it only takes one person to select that for the reject reason to appear on the website.
