Re: Is Wayfarer still on hold?
I do agree with you and in most cases, your suggestion does help. however, there are instances where rejection reasons actually are so nonsensical that "explaining better" just doesn't work. I've had an art gallery/independent theatre located in an old warehouse rejected for being a private residence. An ornate route… -

Forest for sports Why don't we put some PokeStops in areas where people gather, such as forests and parks, where there are trees, playgrounds, and running water. Thank you. The discussion is open. Yes, please do nominate them! I have nominated many. Remember that nominations should be anchored by something made by humans.… -

Re: POIs on SFPRP
I would probably give them a low rating, yes. Do you even know what a trail marker is? Thousands if not millions of people use them to go out to explore and exercise, without any Niantic apps. They are specifically placed there for people to explore and exercise. They don't suddenly become that because they are wayspots.… -
Re: Should there be more Appeals available? Or a successful Appeal returns the button
This is in the U.K. and it’s a typical scenario, even if every word is perfect and the photograph taken by a professional. I have just appealed a recent NCN marker with similar rejection criteria. It looks like the Chelmsford photo is from last summer, mine was recent and upgrade. There are 2 lots of reviewers in the U.K.… -
Re: What does the community think on Public Footpath markers from the UK?

Trail marker with name - Accept with the usual caveats over an accurate location and visual uniqueness etc. Public Footpath / Public Bridleway / Permissive Path only plaques - 1* generic / not interesting - there are 1000s and 1000s of them. There are estimated to be 140,000 miles of public footpath in the UK, and you see… -
Re: Simple solution. Give me an upgrade back for wrong rejections.
So is reviewer abuse just going to go on forever? How does one even report reviewer abuse? My latest rejection of a nicely made trail marker had reasons "natural feature", "emoji in title" & "not permanent". If people can't use their eyes, they shouldn't be reviewing and yet there is no way to report them? At least this… -
Re: Wayfarer app now available on Google Play Store
So far I'm only submitting stuff if it gets rejected by regular reviewers, which isn't much, but I did recently have a trail marker in a village rejected for orientation of all things, even though the photo was perfectly fine (I think the reviewers who rejected it for that should've gone to Specsavers personally haha). Two… -
Re: Rejected because of bad quality on photo?
The reason it was rejected is that there's no physical object to anchor the wayspot to. Walking trails are a good place to exercise, but they need a trail marker or some other physical anchor to be eligible. You've literally just taken a picture which is of a random path and a lot of vegetation, which is likely why your… -
