Re: Cemeteries vs. Church Grounds - Reviewers Distinction?
Thanks for your reply. That's good feedback and insights. Staying on the public cemetery point you made... The public cemetery noms have always been rejected might try and appeal them as you have (same as yours, has a sign, historical significant - building and public figure graves - , accessible with clear concrete… -
Re: cemeteries are allowed?
I'm going to have to agree with @Nadiwereb-PGO, traditional cemeteries are quite solemn and just hold graves and are places for mourning. But increasingly, cemeteries are turning into memorial gardens, places that encourage people to visit, walk around, view art, etc. - on top of the mourning and such that goes along with… -
Re: Wayspot Photo Appeal
Are you kidding me?! What do you mean it does not meet your criteria?! This is a shopping centre playground at Stockland Baulkham Hills! Just because someone is expecting one small tidbit (a very small feature of a larger playground), you can't just accept that there is an edit request to rename it to the playground in… -
Multiple wayspot rejections at a racetrack

Hey there fellow wayfarers, I've already submitted a lot of POIs and while most of them were accepted I'm having quite some trouble to have multiple wayspots at the Nürburgring accepted although they should actually be eligible. Some were rejected just once others did fail to pass the Wayfarer's judgement five times. Since… -
Re: U.K POSTBOXES (with context and history this time)
There is an essential difference between Ingress and the other games using the wayfarer poi database. Portals in Ingress are distinct and not interchangeable. For ingress the in-game rewards come from visiting specific portals and while the game is boring if there are too few POIs, the game is also boring if there are too… -
Re: Why would this not be accepted
Footbridges on trails are still eligible. No AMA is needed for that. Let me try to explain why: First, we must understand why they were eligible under the old criteria. This is what the AMA said: What about wooden walking trail bridges throughout a park or nature preserve on the trail/path? If they are accessible by foot… -

Title: BMX Cycling Cabin Location: 41.227989317079036, -81.5345066359603 City: Peninsula Ohio Country: United States There are multiple wayspots I wish to report that are all in this boy scout camp, but I will start with the main one that keeps getting used as an anchor. TL;DR before you get to the bottom. As much as I… -

Object under construction?
A few days ago I came across an interesting nomination and I keep thinking about it, so I decided to throw it in as a topic to find out how others on this forum feel about this. The nomination was a new church under construction. The roof was almost ready, you could see the scaffolding on the side and the empty slots that… -
A help/support article detailing the rules of proper "pedestrian access" would be extremely helpful
One of the most common misconceptions among people within the Wayfarer community is the requirement of "pedestrian access". Pedestrian access misconceptions are responsible for a large amount of junk within the wayfarer system, countless nominations getting rejected, thousands of missed wayfarer agreements, and it is an…
