Re: Appeal for ineligible nomination - do not understand what is wrong with the submission
Thanks for all the sharing. I suppose the real question here is not so much about what we each individually feel it should be a POI but rather whether is there something wrong with the scoring processes that is being done by certain individuals. There is a fine difference between poor quality versus ineligibility (as a… -
Re: Every Nomination getting rejected.

I believe both the entrance sign and the playground equipment are unfortunately valid rejections under today's criteria. The other nominations (City Park and Clocktower) can probably be valid wayspots with a couple of improvements. Both of these got rejected for "low quality photo". Make sure to definitely take a photo… -
Re: Trailmarkers in cities
As I understand it, (and if I'm wrong, please, someone with more authority than I correct me), a nomination is meant to be judged on its own merit, not on its geographic location, provided that it meets most or all of the following criteria: - is easily/safely pedestrian accessible - within a high/relatively high foot… -
Ineligible Nomination on reddit shows Wayfarer criteria still misunderstood by majority of players

Yesterday, this nomination attempt was posted to r/PokemonGO What do you all think the chances are of my PokéStop Nomination being approved? 😁 As of posting this here, the post has over 7000 upvotes. While I'm sure it's popularity has to do with the very witty description (I got a good chuckle out of it!) it's unfortunate… -
Re: Nomination Rejected 1 - Suggestions
VastExplorer-ING I think it should pass. I assume your english text has gone through a translator? As it seems stilted. And I do not want to correct the English because in the original language it may flow very well!!!!! I suggest - in the supporting information that you address one of the three key eligibility criteria.… -
Re: 20m rule, is it really needed?
I do definitely see the points that restructuring or changing things in Pokémon Go would likely have to be renegotiated with the Pokémon Company. I would think that would be possible and they would probably agree with changes that make the player base happier as well as be likely to increase profits because making the… -

Re: sollte dies kein pokostop werden ?
That sounds like DIY alone is the argument to reject. That shouldnt be the cause .... There are fully legal DIY possibilities. So here an idea for @aTwixy-PGO : If you have grey boring powerboxes (unimportant if telephone/internet, electricity or gas station) in your area you could ask in your local town hall, who owns… -
Re: Hiking trails/trailmarkers - whats eligeble?
All my opinion:Trails are definitely great for exercise and exploration. After all, they are made for the purpose of people to have a means of traveling by exercise whether its from walking, running, or bicycling. Trails can be long enough to cross an entire city and can also join or cross or continue near other trails. In… -
Sports gyms next to school grounds

I'd like to know, what Niantic thinks about borderline cases like this: In small towns here in Germany it is usual, that the town only has one sports gym. So sports clubs and similar instances may share the gyms usage with a school. The school uses it in the morning, sportsclubs in the afternoon and evening. So now there…
