Re: this is getting stupid now
It's to small to read anything, but as you posted all your text in other post, can you make 3 separate screenshots from it so it will be more visible to us? First part - title, main photo, Second part - description and location, Third part - support photo and support text. It would be really helpful to us. But I will try… -
Re: Orienteering Markers - Plymouth
Again I need to repeat that I am not replying to the OP. OP has a comms ban in effect for my own protection, and any direct reply to myself or other agents who have blocked the OP will result in a report to Niantic for further harassment. You don't know the half of it. None of these threads have been 100% true. All are a… -
Re: Has everyone else slown down with nominations getting through?
I think most people here are way above the average amount a player does. As an example in my very local group there are maybe 3 out of 60 who review, 2 of whom only really review to get an upgrade. The others submit but have found the process to be tedious, nonsensical and/or lengthy. Most Go players don't want to wait… -
Re: Photo quality issues
A third-party supporting photo is also acceptable, although it's rarely optimal. Generally the supporting photo should show the candidate in its larger environment to help reviewers confirm the location and understand the context. I saw one recently where the supporting photo was street view (the same view that a reviewer… -
Re: New “Upload Later” Feature - Discussion Thread
If only we had access to the coordinates for our own nominations! I finally got around to finding/filling out a move request for more than 20 meters. It was the only educational trail marker out of over a dozen submitted that wound up in the wrong place (more than 50m off). I had previously submitted the in-game request,… -
Re: Stormwater and Protected Area Signs
I would reject the first one. It does not provide educational information about the area and is more of a generic marker of an ecosystem. We have dozens of similar signs on a stretch of trail going along a watershed not even a few miles apart. The second one I would probably approve, but pretty much only because of the… -
Re: Painted Fire Hydrants
So... I was actually staying at a building where the parking garage caught fire, and the fire department had to use the hydrants.... and we were instructed by the fire department to stand NEAR THE HYDRANT - which was across the street from the burning building. And most of the Emergency vehicles were parked in front of the… -
Temporary or seasonal exposure
Re: Appeals when?
I'm not sure why you are asking me as others have already gave the answers It appears to be a marker at a trail junction, which I would normally approved. But the problem is that the nomination is focused entirely on the marker and not what is represents. It's a bar, so there the issue with it being an adult-only… -
Multiple Portals Inside Boyscout Camp

Title: BMX Cycling Cabin Location: 41.227989317079036, -81.5345066359603 City: Peninsula Ohio Country: United States There are multiple wayspots I wish to report that are all in this boy scout camp, but I will start with the main one that keeps getting used as an anchor. TL;DR before you get to the bottom. As much as I…
