Re: What would you tell the Wayfarer Community Specialist? Coming Soon™️
I think something like realising that those in other countries know their territory / culture etc. more than say, someone in Niantic's office in the USA. I've long thought that a person per major country / region of country as a reference point for Niantic would be useful. It might help explain what's interesting about… -
Re: "Historical" Survey Marker, Legit or No?
Great question @thenamelesskath-PGO ... you were waiting for me right.. ;-) First of all - if you going to call it historical - then provide evidence. The year '79 is not old. It is not very rare either. Looks like a standard Positional Mark of which there are millions in australia. What a small 3 inch disk nailed to the… -
What are you doing about the endless Pokemon GO-related nominations and photo reviews?
I'm not talking about the nominations that mention Pokemon GO in the description or things like Pokestops or Trainers, I'm talking about the real trubbish. Things that show screenshots of their gaming screen with or without the spoofer icon (Pokeball in a star), the photos of Typhlosions and Articunos being submitted to… -
Massive abuse at Makinogaike, Meito-ku, Nagoya City

Title of the Wayspot:牧野ヶ池緑地 休憩所 location:https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=35.147651,137.013131&z=17&pll=35.147651,137.013131 Unfortunately, it seems to have been approved in a false position. This makes it clear that it was shifted for Pokémon Go. Please refer to this report. We also demand an investigation of the judges… -
Question about hiking trails

I recently received a rejection of a hiking trail for the following reason: "Derzeit können wir dir keine Begründung nennen, aufgrund derer wir überprüfte Vorschläge abgelehnt haben." (English: "At this time, we cannot give you a reason why we rejected reviewed proposals." ) what is, referring to comments from the D/A/CH… -
Re: invalid wayspot: Farul Rosu Mangalia
The rules and criteria for submitting a portal or Waypoint have changed many times over the years, things that used to be eligible are now not, and othe other way round. Also, the criteria for submitting a Waypoint are different from the criteria for removing a Waypoint. Here is an AMA response that helps explain this.… -
Re: portale finto
"The road is small in two directions, provided it is busy, however the car remains stationary in the middle of the road so that any large vehicles are blocked." This makes no sense. Based on this, any Wayspot in the world next to a street would be automatically ineligible, because if someone stopped with their car next to… -
Re: Supposedly got a report, need detailed reasons for such
@Elijustrying-ING Answering your question about what the boundaries of PRP are in my understanding, of course it's not only a matter of "I'm able to touch the object, so it's ok". First off, it has to respect all the acceptance criteria. Then comes into play the fact that if it's located on a wall of a private property… -
Re: Pedestrian Bridges
A footbridge doesn't become categorically eligible simply for existing. However, many bridges on trails or in parks help facilitate exercise and outdoor exploration. In my own region, it is very common for cyclists and pedestrians to meet & gather on the trail footbridges. An AMA previously asked about this and received… -
Photo clarity
I had this first rejected due to a photo issue. I was given some great advice to clean the whole nomination up.. And took a new photo of a different part of the building. And it has been rejected - AGAIN - for being a bad photo and I quote -- Nomination does not meed the acceptance criteria. Photo appears to be tilted,…
