Re: Update to Wayfarer Criteria regarding Outdoor Basketball Courts - Discussion
I'm almost in complete agreement with you. I think fire stations are still highly dependent on the access. Like, I've caught pokemon at one and was super uncomfortable waiting to leave the station because it had no traffic signal (except the one THEY could activate) and only a single driveway. It was on a fairly busy road… -
Everything wrong with Wayfarer
1. Unrewarding It’s already been said many times- using Wayfarer is like doing free labor for Niantic. Some might say the wayspots that get accepted are the rewards for that work – but, making the game more accessible is not the player’s job. Why should anyone work for hours, days and even weeks just to make the game… -
Re: Deleted gym which was legit
Thank you for your kind and quick answer. Certainly I agree with you, the altar is built within the fence of the yellow-brick property you saw in the pics. That being said, I would like to argue that this not necessarily means said altar belongs to the same residential property, nor the property is a single-family house. I… -
Re: Magic Recipe for hiking trail bridges?
It should be something between totally unimportant and minor effects on a voting, how your personal feelings about candidates with clearly published guidelines are. To use your own example: I personally hate playgrounds as wayspots - that are no places for smartphone game playing people hanging around in my personal view.… -
Re: Mural or drawing?
My thoughts on the original two questions: 1) I'd evaluate the quality, visual appearance, etc of the artwork to decide whether it actually stands out as a mural or is just poorly conceived graffiti. Many examples of street art are truly breathtaking and are a form of art in themselves... this looks like something I could… -
Re: I rejected eighteen in a row.
I haven't been reviewing long, but I had a string of real awful ones the other day. Goku from their TV, A selfie as the main image, a normal fire hydrant. Those are annoying but easy to spot and report as abuse. But I've also seen some that misplaced legit submissions down the road to what I assume is closer to their… -
Re: INVALID WAYSPOT APPEALS : 彭佳嶼
Honestly, I don’t think they should be removed. A military control zone is not a military base. It is not open to the general public, but it is still accessible for some people. The following description is also from the same page of Wikipedia. As of 2002, there were about 40 itinerant residents living on the island, who… -
Re: Distance Preschool?
Thanks for the PDF! Again, much appreciated as I'm wanting to be as consistent as possible with guidelines, and I really like the specific list that's provided! That part is great! Was this consolidated by a user, or is this actually an official document? Sadly, though, this still doesn't clarify some things. Examples:… -
Re: Rejected for photo being tilted, sideways, or upside down??
It's actually place people socialize. (Maybe not a Pokemon Go player walking by but locals do) AND it is accessible to pedestrians since... people have to get there. It has a wide shoulder area to gather. Rural areas just don't have sidewalks. Heck, even in downtowns of big cities in Japan once you are off a main street…
