The following park has a lot of Wayspots which have been misplaced... It appears to be intentional misplacement of Wayspots in order to manipulate the game board, as the misplaced locations happen to maximise the number of Pokestops. Some are mislocated by hundreds of metres. All are either duplicates or the real location… -

I don't know if it helps but I usually go for something along these lines with regards to trail markers. Marker on the trail to the chapel. If you are going to change some of the criteria used to evaluate submissions, then Niantic need to be much more definite about the meaning and useage of terms. I actually like "Visually Unique", it helps to keep too many identical looking submissions (think "park entrance signs" or "named trail markers") from cluttering up… -

If a walking trail marker has the trail name on it I'd accept it regardless of whether it's in a city or the countryside - often long distance trails pass through towns or cities e.g. The Pennine Way. What wouldn't count as a trail marker would be a direction sign e.g. ' Seafront this way' or 'King's District 1 mile'. A… -
