Re: Restaurant flagged as explicit
Niantic gives an example of a trail marker (or something like that) in the middle of a forest which you can't see on a satellite image: if you believe it is there, but you can't be sure, you should give 3*. Some categories weigh differently, for obvious reasons, like safety. Being unsure whether something is safe, is not… -
Re: How can a scoreboard possibly get rejected for explicit or inappropriate activity?
I just commented on a similar post elsewhere in the Wayforum. The comment below was shared in the Wayforum by NianticCasey. Just because something was flagged for abuse, however, doesn't mean that we're automatically going to be issuing warnings, bans or suspensions to the potentially offending account. Our abuse team… -
Re: Geodetic Survey Marker Disks - Questions on Pedestrian Access, Visual Uniqueness, and PRP
Great posts! I'll chime in with my original post about survey markers here to give some more detail on the matter. I know the NSW people have twisted the original guidance from "Survey Marker if on a trail or helps you explore the location" to just "4* survey markers" - which is just cherry picking what they want and… -
Re: Rejection reason: Mismatched Location
It typically means that reviewers didn't have enough information to confirm the location. The best thing you can do is to think like a reviewer. What will they see when they review it? Do they have street view available? Satellite view? A map with identifying information? Sometimes they won't have enough information… -
Problems with the AMA-answer about natural features

On the other hand the rejection reason is still out there, although natural features arent considered to be an instant K.O. anymore. So the situation here is imho now fully comparable to the situation with the generic-business-rejection and its removal. Nethertheless I have a big question about the logic in the statement… -
Re: Definitive Sheet/Infographic/List of Acceptance Criteria for Pokestops
there used to be several versions of this kind of list available from other sources, but after the criteria refresh, the ones i knew about have been taken down. there are lots of people on this forum that are still quoting old quidelines and can pull up five year old references asap when i can't find a comment made last… -

Re: Incentivizing Wayfarer - Discussion
Idea 2, global events that reward bonus upgrades and shake up prioritization could be engaging while addressing areas with major backlog. I personally would want them to be 3-7 days and happen regularly (maybe once per month or every other month) * Time travel week(end) -rural fast tracks and upgrades are put on hold, all…
