The test should use realistic scenarios, and the fact is, if you were to rate the given submission's location accuracy 3 stars on a real submission, you would be doing something wrong. I would say that the locks would be eligible as you quite rightly said they are man made and and are very visually unique. As long as you are setting the Marker in the correct location. As for the bridges I'd have to say they may not be unless part of a named Trail or the numbered plates have some historical or unique… -

There are many more reasons why something might be allowed on appeal after a completely good-faith, legitimate rejection. For example, at one point trail markers had to have a trail name on them. Yeah, germany somewhat needs honeypots. Especially regarding trail markers, restaurants, post offices. Got a restaurant with a successfull history of at lest 31 years, gets rejected every time. Every trail marker got rejected so far. Every Post office. Also artworks of multiple family residents needed more than one try.…
