   I would like to know the ratio of people who passed the test once, people who passed the test after failing it once, and people who failed the test both times.

   Maybe Niantic is building a new, updated, intelligent test - and will reset everyone who failed the old one twice.

   I think there should be options to retake the test every year or two just for the people who tried and failed as kids who weren't really paying attention who might have matured since then. It's a low bar to clear, but a life sentence for failing it seems harsh.

   If there is going to be a third attempt, it must be one that is earned. It should not be something that is just simply given. As others have said, the test is ridiculously easy to pass and those who failed it twice is already a sign that the person may not be competent enough to review. (Or relying on a "cheat sheet"…
