2 Pokestops & Gym Removal

Yes that is what the team will want ( you can see that is a standard request in this area) you said the have been there for a year, so they will want a date stamp to show there have been no significant changes. That is part of the geolocation data.
Some good supporting photos to give context is what I would recommend. From Cyndies screenshot I would think one that shows all 3 would be particularly easy and show the relative positions. And some with the poi and sump pond help too.
That is my best advice to optimise your appeal.
If all is well they can be restored.

the top one is this one

the middle (red) one is this one

the lower blue one is this one

This forum would collapse if you stopped helping :joy:

Thanks for the appeal @colebrookegt ,

We looked at these Wayspots again and stand by our decision to retire them.

We would be happy to review any evidence you could provide. Having said that, it is highly recommended to not doctor the evidence as that is considered abuse and may lead to sanctions.

I’ve had a chance to have a look closer.
The sign refers to a large playing field.
On the sign the what 3 words to give for emergency services says zebra.each.giant which gives a location elsewhere, with a name that matches the name on the sign.

I would take Aaron’s advice.

How do I request for a pokestop to be removed please? Now that the 2 wooden statues no longer constitute a stop I would like the pokestop near to my property removed. Having these additional stop in place enable walking between gyms and stopped large groups congregating near my property during PokĂ©mon go tours, gym raids etc. I would like the “Wokingham Miles to London and Reading” removed.

If it is negatively affecting you as property owner, you can use the form linked under “Wayspot Removals” to request removal. Here is the link in case you don’t see it in the format you are viewing the forum: Reporting a Wayspot — Wayfarer Help Center

I can see the point of interest for this one on street view, and (although it seems to be a bit misplaced) i don’t see how it could be affecting any of the homes.

Thankyou. Will get that stop removed.

The object is still there, so owner request is the way to go if it is causing you an issue.
It does appear to be on public land but if they are causing a nuisance in an adjacent property they will consider.
An option is to turn off raids if that is the critical element.

Please remember that fake removal reports are also considered abuse.

You will request from Niantic that the stop is removed, which is not the same as “I will get that stop removed”.

Looking at the map and the distances involved, it is difficult to see that a group of players congregating within reach of the gym can be anywhere other than on public space such as the grass and the pavement.

If you have evidence of a nuisance being caused, and can prove you are the property owner of a house which is affected, Niantic will definitely consider the request.

don’t be too specific with your real life location on this public forum. i am just cautioning you in case you were asking for this as retaliation for what you thought was happening in your original post.

Noted and thankyou for considering my health and wellbeing.

Please be careful about giving out your address or any other personal information. This is a worldwide forum and has public access. I reported one post above, not to be malicious, but for your own safety.

I appreciate you might not welcome this but my advice is to take some time to process what has happened here and take time to think things through.
We have often seen accusations based on assumptions here that turn out to be unfounded.

It does look like council land so it may not be straightforward.

I will resolve this myself and happy for this post to be closed.
