Again I don’t have the exact number of removed POI’s but just from counting the places I go to it’s about 40 but that number is going to raise soon knowing what the next area thats going to be targeted. And the type of stuff that got removed where historical markers, tennis courts, art, murals, trail heads, historical plaques. This is all over the town not in one specific area. I know this is false reporting because I know my town I see these places when I go on walks, I personally have submitted two or three of the POI’s that were removed, and finally we have 3 local historians that play Niantic games and they have submitted the majority of the POI’s in my town
That seems very weird, the Wayfarer team wouldn’t just remove all of these without evidence. The removal criteria are very narrow, like being on school or single family residential property, being unsafe to access, or being permanently removed. Unless the property owner makes a request, which also seems unlikely in this scenario. Have you sent an email to support? Otherwise, posting one or several locations here might get you an official explanation as staff do monitor the forums
But here’s the thing most of the POI’s have been in the game for 6-7 years why are they all of a sudden getting removed? Also all the POI’s that are peoples homes with historical plaques on them are still in the game those haven’t been affected. I know a person is doing this because like 3 POI’s moved very very slightly to better line up where they are in real life. With the amount of tennis courts I review on wayfarer it’s just crazy that my towns got removed I can give you a Google maps pin right now and show you that those courts exist. Now how do you get in contact with support, I’m not sure what to do as my town is hemorrhaging POIs.
Its been 5 days and you haven’t provided a single specific example yet. We dont even know if its real removals or just a cell rebalance.
I’m sorry I have been busy for last 5 days I’ll have to go downtown and start geotaging everything but I can send the geotag of the tennis courts right now via Google maps

I appreciate this is a frustrating situation and we are asking for a lot of effort, but the Team will have had some evidence to remove so they will need evidence to reinstate.
Please start with one or a few wayspot that you remember that have highest chance to be reinstated. I understand that getting all data is not easy so i suggest you start small
