Before there’s a pokestop on this level 17 cell, I nominated another one and got approved too, later on the pokestop doesn’t show up in the cell probably because of edit location? The 2 approved POI are the only one that’s community contributed that’s on the cell, that I know of, waited for weeks-months, no pokestop shows up on that cell.
So I decided to submit another nomination, different POI but thats inside the same cell, got approved but days come by it doesn’t show up. What could be the reason? Help, thank you in advance. (the other POI that’s on the same cell is a McDonald’s, who never shows up in game)
Edit: Other one is powerspot (?) they say that rarely spawn, but no other pokestop.
Ingress has not been part of Wayfarer since May 2025. You will not see new Wayspots on iitc, since that is a map of ingress portals. If you give the coordinates of the Wayspot you are asking about, I can try to see what is happening there.
Yes, I’m aware that ingress is not updated since 2025, I’m just using it for the grid lines, for the cells, the 2nd image is from NianticWayfarer, the other one is just basis for the placement of POI inside the cell. Thank you.
If you want help, leave the coordinates. We do have some good geo guessers who may be able to find this with just the satellite view.

What you have shown appears to be that the L17 S2 cell is already occupied from the shading in iitc.That would be why you do not see your new Wayspot in game. But I can’t confirm that without checking myself with the tools I know are current.
Yes, that one is the original pokestop, pass through year/s got moved, it’s the one in the middle one now in the yellow square

The oldest one is Bulacan State University approved Mar 18, 2020, so it is not just a sync issue. It appears that Wayspot used to be a gym, but has been removed from the game board. My guess is that the school asked to have game locations restricted from this area, but only staff can confirm that. There was a sync reported today, so if the newer ones were going to sync in, they should have.
I played like 2025, it’s a pokestop before, I should ask the community if it was a gym before. The disappearance of it being a pokestop only happened, after the addition of my nomination. May I ask what app you are using, or plug in? Thanks.
I am using third party tools created by one of the Wayfarer Ambassadors, but we are not allowed to share links to third party tools. You can do an internet search for Wayfarer Tools, and the site with the ones I am using will have a link to the Wayfarer Discussion Discord server, which we are also not allowed to share a link to. Those tools indicate that this was pokestop at one time. Sorry I mistook that for a gym symbol.
