I’m curious, yesterday we went to the Shete Boka National Park in Curacao. One of the main attractions is Boka Pistol Shete Boka
I made many pictures there, and nominated 3 wayspots regarding Boka Pistol (trails, and viewpoint). All three nominations regarding Boka Pistol are now under review. My guess it is under investigation due to the name.
I’m curious what will happen, but in my view using the official name should be fine, and should not be considered abuse (the name “pistol” is based upon the sound that the waves make when they hit the coast).

It might be because of the name, but it also might just been them sampling the nominations that are coming in. There is nothing to worry about. My last three that went into Niantic review were these:
Edit: I have to stop saying “Niantic review” and start saying “Team review” or something like that.
I’m not too worried, as it is the official and legal name. If you google it, it is easy to find, there is even a street view at the end of the trail, and it has a very high google rating (it is one of the top attractions in the Carrebean).
I just don’t believe it is a coincidence, as all of the other nominations I did yesterday, are not under review.
I also don’t mind that they are under review, as I truly don’t like abuse in the game. Better safe, than sorry.
