I got a 30 day suspension for “Malicious Image submission” but I haven’t submitted anything improper it was just the image of a bridge in my area. Is there any way that if I appeal I can have the 30 day ban removed? I have Kalos Tour this Friday and I bought the ticket and everything.
Hey, sounds like you have received a set of emails together with the penalty. There should be a link to appeal included, where you’d then should show that the picture complied with the criteria, for example that you didn’t take it from a 3rd party source off the internet.

I took the following pictures myself but I just noticed that I used one of the google maps images that may have triggered the ban. I previously received a warning but I had no idea for what and just noticed going through the forum that’s the reason most likely. But can i prove my point of all my additional photos where taken by me? Only has was from google maps but I was there myself, it was just for quality purposes though I see the clear mistake now. Do you think there is any possibility I can get the ban removed before friday (in five days)? Even if I sent them photos of me actually being there and taking my own pictures…
You can see the images attached. It’s for a bridge, I downloaded one cause it looks more clear and unfortunately included in the nomination.

Are you saying the main image you submitted was from google street view?
That is something that is expressly not allowed.
If that is what you had done previously and received a warning and not altered your behaviour, then I think it unlikely that you have a case for reduction of the penalt
To add: submitting photos with your car dashboard visible is also not allowed
