Attached 4/32 rejected submissions from the last days that are wrong from my opinion. 2 without any reason, 3 with wrong reasons. I know that photos could be better, but I was not able to take perfect supporting photos all the times because the sports club was closed for example - but using the maps options you can clearly see that the nomination exist and are on that specific position.
I’ve about 16.000 reviews and a few hundred approved poi, I am confident that I know what I submit is eligible although not perfect - but the rejections are all wrong and appealing them all takes literally a year.
Shall I really upload 30 nominations with screenshots, texts to translate and all? The description was never reason for the rejection, it only maybe would make sense for the supplemental information about the trail marker
P.S.: I hope the attached photos are all in the correct order, the preview shows them NOT in the order I selected them…
Edit: How do I sort the photos? This is a mess! I uploaded them all one after another!
I recommend uploading the photos for one wayspot per post in this thread. You can do multiple posts if you want to submit photos for multiple wayspots
Have you had any recent warnings for abuse or location errors? If you get one of these and then all your outstanding submissions rejected together, this is because Scopely Explore sometimes automatically reject everything after abuse.
No such thing happened. No warning or anything as I am aware of
[Trail markers names] and a short summary of the routes, links show the trail and describe the trail markers look
I see a mismatch between the implication in the topic title and what you said in the first post.
Of the 32 rejections, do you agree with almost all of them, but just a handful you disagree with?
If that is the case, then this is normal. Sometimes wayspots get rejected incorrectly, sometimes a submitter is determined that a wayspot is eligible when it isn’t.
It’s possible that last one was rejected for pedestrian access?
Once again trail markers that are not permanently enough hammered into a tree and somehow are unsafe to access? Links in the supplemental information show the trails and describe the look of the sign
Trail marker on a metal sign, hammered into a tree. Titel is the trail itself, description a shirt summary of the trail, supplemental information link to a the official website.
Thanks for your reply!
I have nominated about 80 poi and 32 were rejected wrongly within the last few days. Most of them are trail markers where I know that Germany has big issues getting the vinyl stickers through the review process, although people can show links to websites showing the trail, describing the trail markers look and all. If the markers IN the neighbourhood would be rejected, bad luck. but the ones in the fields and woods? No!
I have trouble with similar markers getting approved by the community. They almost always get approved on appeal. You may just have to appeal them.
When/if you appeal or resubmit the markers, you may want to include this link:
Thanks for the link!
I already have them included in the submission when it is one of the Odenwald.
The appeals mostly go through, but the amount of appeals necessary, if everything gets rejected, is just not feasible.
