About Wayspot’s titles

Hello!

It’s definitely a good idea to try for titles that are as unique as possible, this is indeed part of the title guidance.

Beyond that, if it is something like a series of objects with one shared name, or items of one type (“Trail marker”), I have been known to use both geographical (Trail marker at Street Crossing NNN) and landmark-based (Trail marker next to Train Station NNN) identifiers, depending on what would fit best, be more unique and help people find it the most easily. I don’t think there is a definitive guideline on this, nor should there be one - it sounds like a situation where you as the person on-site would be largely qualified to make a guess on what would work best for this specific situation and location.
