On of my Wayspot have been accepted more than 10 days ago :
But yet it hasn’t appear nor on pokemon go map, nor on Niantic wayfarer map.
Here is the gps data : 50.4077857 and 4,4302690
On Ingress map the spot appear in the purple area : does it matter ?
If you can help me it would be great, thank for reading

Indeed strange, there is nothing visible on the map
I think it may be tagged a part of a private industrial area so it doesn’t appear but i have nothing to confirm it.
But in reality the building is no more in that area and the border of the building is a grass walkable area.

We have restricted the addition of any new Wayspots in this area. This Wayspot will not appear on the gameboard.
I think you need to be prepared that niantic may not provide more information than already provided. You can try submit a few more nomination outside that area. Perhaps the restriction did not encompass whole area.

Recently i did the work to have a new Way point near my living place, it has validated all criteria but the finaly it has not be added to the gameboard due to hidden “Restricted Area” criteria.

If the area is already restricted by some criteria, the way spot submission soudn’t be able to pass, nor vote, nor validation.
In that case, my work and the work of the verifiers are done for nothing, and it implie a loss of motivation and commitment for the Wayfarer community.
Can you give detail about restricted area so we can do a usefull work instead of loosing time for nothing

Niantic have said this area is restricted. Someone else posted that you will be unlikely to get further explanation from Niantic. That thread is the place to discuss this further if you feel it is necessary.
Think about it this way…the area is restricted for now. We don’t know why it was restricted, but that reason could change in the future. So the work you’ve done, might come to fruition eventually.
What i can tell you is that Niantic doesn’t want to restrict any area. They only do that when they have to comply with some landowner request or have determined an area is very unsafe.
I know it’s not fun to have spent time nominating in a “salted” area. I tell people to listen to the reports of long time players on the area. If they tell you an area is restricted, they typically know what they’re talking about. But if there’s no way to have known ahead of time, it will just go down as a learning experience. Also, now that we max out with 10 nominations per day, we don’t need to worry too much about wasting them.
