My first submission got denied with the niantic’s automated process and the second one got denied by the team. The city had already couple of submissions of pixel art with tiles (mosaic) and it really bothers me that they said the pixel art is not considered artistic. What are your thoughts?
My first thought is that these are very cute, but look like something that could easily be stuck there temporarily. Do you have links that prove this is a public art installation? I think the “doesn’t look artistic” is probably meant to convey that this does not look like the typical kind of work they would expect to see from an artist.
If you have information on who made this, it will have more chance to be approved. We have seen people trying to create wayspot (not saying you do this) , so if this is not true, you need to provide more information about it (preferably web link)
Yeah it’s a famous instalation.. I hope some admin actually takes a look and changes the outcome as I feel sad for being denied by automated process. I feel like I would at least deserve another chance to explain, but I didn’t know they’d really think of it as ‘‘not artistic’’ as I mentioned above it is famous instalation in the city Ljubljana.

Perhaps change the title to reflect that this was an appeal decision. Staff do read posts on the forum, but that might make it clearer why you posted.
Following This post someone suggested to post with a different category as it would get more attention. My first rejection was automatic which kind of makes it unfair, meaning you don’t know why it got rejected and I’m a bit upset that my submission got rejected by the wayfarer team for the reason ‘‘pixel-art is not considered artistic’’. We have multiple pixel art made from tiles around the city and it’s a very famous instalation by french artist, that’s appearing in 80 cities over all europe.
I’d want this submission to be looked at again as I feel a bit upset getting automatically denied, followed by a rejection from wayfarer team.

It does not look like you provided any substantive evidence in your appeal, such as the URL you have posted here. “There are other wayspots like this” is never good evidence, as existing wayspots are not a guide to what is eligible.
You may get another look from Niantic now that you have enclosed the URL.
If you have to resubmit, remember that no reviewer (including internal Niantic reviewers) can see the previous submission, so definitely include the URL and don’t refer to the previous rejection.
Each wayspot will be judge by its own merit. Street view also not helping since the object is not visible from streetview.
The problem with your nomination is you need to prove that this particular nomination is part of the published art and not something someone imitate to create wayspot.
I have seen the art in the link. So it will have better chance. The correct procedure for appeal is by using appeal button in wayfarer page or resubmit but you have done appeal and staff already said that if you strongly believe appeal decision is wrong to write in forum. I will leave decision to wayfarer staff. I am moving your post because wayspot appeals is reserved for rejected removal request or appealing removal
In future, If you have another art in series, it would make it easier if its visible in street view or its visible in weblink (the weblink mention certain apps to scan the art. I think that would help too if you include it)

I totaly agree with you that I shoud’ve been more specific about this art and provide the link in the appeal notes, but in my defense, I did not know what I am appealing against as the first messege was ‘‘this submission was denied because of the Niantic’s automated process’’ and since I thought this surely would go through, I did not took enough time (which I regret) to provide them with better evidence.
Anyway.. we learn something every day 
I hope they do review the post and change the outcome
Well wait here for a few days. Sometimes staff overturn the decision silently but nothing is guaranteed. If staff didnt respond after several days, you can try resubmit with better evidence.
