I have no idea why my nomination keeps getting rejected - I even used an upgrade, and I’m very upset. This is a REGISTERED historic site on PUBLIC LAND used for horse riding - and you can see the trail in the picture, making it PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE . I even took the time and included links explaining why this isn’t just a generic barn -

Anthony Fishburn Barn - East Region Historic Site
This barn is tied to the legacy of Anthony Fishburn (1816-1893), a retired Cumberland County farmer and great-grandson of German immigrant Philip Fischborn, who settled in Pennsylvania in 1749. Anthony moved with his family to Dickinson Township in 1832, where he farmed for decades before retiring to Carlisle. Married to Salome Ann LeFevre, a descendant of French Huguenot settlers, Fishburn’s family history reflects both German and French immigrant roots. Today, the barn serves as horse stables.
Nomination, with NO REJECTION INFO:
Supplemental Information:
I can’t even submit an appeal, this is getting ridiculous. I have absolutely no waypoints within 10 km of my house, and this should have been a waypoint YEARS ago.
if the rejection reasons don’t show, even after refreshing the page, i can usually see them after logging out and back in. have you tried that?

After logging in and out several times, it finally appears. However, these are both incorrect. It’s publicly accessible and I’ve given lots of proof that it is both permanent and distinct.
we get 2 appeals, each on a 15 day timer before we can use them again. the button will return when you have one available - i am off to raid hour and will give you better feedback when i am back if still needed, but i bet others will have helped by then
welcome to the forum, and sorry you are so frustrated.

Thank you for your help and time.
Okay I have had a chance now to look over these documents. Just because something is an historic site does not make it public land. Those are great links for the history of the site, but do you have any evidence about this being public land?
This does look like SFPRP - single family private residential property - from the property outline on Google Maps in layers, to the street view of the mailbox and driveway to the property. Just being adjacent to a public trail is not enough, as clarified here: Private Residences, Farmland & K-12
A search on the address in your screenshot brings up listings for a single family home that last sold in 1996, but nothing about this becoming public land. Or do you have a resource that shows this is a business where riding lessons are taught? I couldn’t find anything that would show that this property could be eligible.

Thank you so much, no I don’t have any physical proof that lessons are taught here, the owners don’t have a website or anything unfortunately. So I’m not sure how I would prove that.
You did a well researched nomination there. I hate to have to say that I think the rejection is correct without making a suggestion of something else to submit, but the whole nearby area seems to be large residential/farm properties. I will link you to this topic in hopes that it can give you some other ideas for places to look: Tips for Rural Nominators
