Hello! I have an appeal that was accepted but it isn’t showing up in Pokemon Go! The name is Sweetwater at Metro Pool 3 and the long/lat is (33.604525, -112.124310)

The reason your nomination isn’t appearing in Pokémon Go is because the game has density rules that limit which wayspots are eligible to be used in game. You can read more about this here:
I don’t have the tools installed to give you a visual of this, but your wayspot is in the same level 17 S2 cell as “Sweetwater Pool Cabana”. As each level 17 S2 cell can only contain one Pokéstop or one Gym, the cabana is blocking your nomination from being able to appear. It also looks like your nomination is within 22 metres of the cabana, meaning it won’t be eligible to be used as a Power Spot either.
Okay but I passed by an area where a pokestop was literally right on top of a gym so it doesn’t make sense to me
Sometimes the way the cells line up mean that this can happen. For example, on a local cycling trail we have two wayspots (one Pokéstop and one Gym) which are only a metre apart, but they can both exist because the cell border happens to pass straight between the two objects and they are alone in their respective cells. This is the most likely reason for what you’ve seen.
To give you a visual example using @SlimboyFat71 's screenshot:
If there was a wayspot that could be submitted at the green dot on the very edge of the screenshot (I drew a black arrow to highlight it), then that would be able to appear as a Pokéstop despite being closer to the cabana than what you submitted, because it’s in a different level 17 S2 cell and that cell is currently empty.
It’s basically just a case of how the cells line up. Sometimes it works out favourably, other times it doesn’t.
