First of all, I would like to say that I understand the reason for the suspension of my account, but I only did something to improve our community. We don’t have many players and we don’t have many places to play. I was trying to improve the gameplay in that area. I saw many other players doing this when I went to Niantic Wayfarer to evaluate some observation points, and I really didn’t know that this was against the rules. I am very sad about this because I will lose the lucky exchange item, which I did not redeem, and which has a limited time to be redeemed.
I would like this appeal to be accepted. I am really enjoying the game now and being without it for 30 days will be extremely difficult for me. My sincere thanks.
You do not need to tag staff for this, as they do monitor the forums. They may send you a DM with more info, but if you have appealed via the link in the email, that is reviewed by staff and they will give you a decision.
I understand this is very unfortunate, but it has nothing to do with wayfarer.
Wayfarer can’t know if you do something accidently or on purpose, so if you want a chance for the suspension to be revoked, gathering evidence that it wasn’t intentional is key.
We take fairness seriously at Niantic. Our goal is to provide our players with a fair, fun and legitimate gaming experience. We maintain strict policies against policy violations and actively take actions against players that do not respect the rules the rest of the community follows.
All relevant information in this regard is part of the official resources provided to players about the submission process and it is our expectation that all Wayfarer participants review the rules of engagement before their first review or nomination.
While, I understand your disappointment, in order to be fair to other players we cannot revoke the enforcements on your account. We hope that this enforcement acts as a learning experience and a deterrent against future violations.
