Appeal denied when it should be eligible?

So this nomination was first denied by ML. Then, I appealed it but it got rejected. What’s even more confusing is the appeal rejection didn’t even mention the view, just that it’s a “generic bench”. Any tips? Should I resubmit this with a different bench angle? Should I renominate on the web browser so I can add multiple supporting photos?

The main problem is ML as it has rejected a bunch of my nominations with great views.

I think a “great view” is a matter of opinion, and I don’t really see the great view from the bench in your photos. Possibly you could submit again with more of the view in the photo from an angle standing behind the bench. More like these examples:

You could also use web submit to be able to include more supporting photos to really show the entire panoramic view. But as is, to my eyes, it is just a bench along a path as presented, and I don’t see that the appeal decision was clearly wrong.

I understand that you know how fantastic the view is, but you have to convey that to reviewers. I hope that helps.

I guess the view looks hard to see from the main photo. I’ll submit it on the web with multiple supporting photos. Thank you! Also, for benches I cannot get behind for the view, I shoukd use web submit for several photos, right?

The more you can show the better.

Scenic Views are always hit and miss.

Reviewers have to make a decision whether the view is worthy of a Wayspot so no answer is wrong just opinion. Even the bench behind “Loblaws” (Yes, I had to google that  ) has “A” view…
