My account was recently suspended for 30 days due to a “Photo Abuse” warning on my submission “萬興公廟金爐” submitted on July 16, 2026.
I would like to sincerely apologize and explain the situation. When I submitted this nomination, I mistakenly used a Google Street View photo because I thought a clear, high-resolution street-level photo would better assist reviewers.
I now fully realize that using third-party images or Street View screenshots is strictly prohibited under the Niantic Wayfarer rules, and all photos must be taken personally on-site.
I want to assure you that “萬興公廟金爐” is 100% real and genuinely exists at the location. There was absolutely no malicious intent to fake a location, spoof, or manipulate the system.
I deeply regret this misunderstanding of the photo guidelines. I respectfully request your leniency in reviewing my 30-day suspension and hope to clear this strike from my account. I guarantee that all my future submissions will be taken in-person on-site in strict adherence to the rules.
